It’s a nice resort and the lagoon lets you snorkel right on the property and we were able to swim with a sea turtle, baby rays, multiple kinds of fish and saw a couple of seals. There are several restaurants available but like most resorts they are grossly overpriced. Beautiful sunsets, lots of walking paths. All in all a great place for a vacation

The room was very nice and staff were friendly and helpful, as well as responsive. Unsure of the process to obtain housekeeping when new towels were needed. Texting was very helpful. The resort ground was very dark so one could not safely walk around late.

Room service was not great, not enough coffee supplies, we ended up grabbing off of laundry carts in hallway. Spilled coffee on our sheets, very obvious, weren’t changed.

This place was really big. There is enough on site to have a good vacation without leaving the property. We saw dolphins, whales, sea turtles and seals. You won't go wrong staying here.

Be prepared to spend about the same amount of money as the flight and stay cost on food and beverages while you're here. Everything at the resort is ridiculously expensive, especially for mediocre food. Great time otherwise.

The property is nice. Staff was very nice. Our first room had roaches and we weren’t given an upgraded room. Our beautiful ocean view was taken from us. The fridge area of the rooms are not cleaned properly which is why we had roaches

We booked a room for a king size bed, and we were told nothing was available with that when we got there. We were told they had two queens and that was it. The staff member did not explain anything for 15 minutes before offering us that, like we even had a choice to consider something different. Sometimes the cleaning staff replaced everything and sometimes the towels were not changed or the glasses replaced, etc. This is not a place we would stay again and we will probably not consider using Expedia again since our experiences have not been satisfactory.

This property has a beautiful setting. The lagoon has so many turtles, rays, fish, and eels. It was great to be able to snorkel every day. Housekeeping is a nightmare. We stayed in the Makai, which is supposed to be the best of the towers and we had to call for fresh towels, tissues, shower gel, and toilet paper more than once during our stay. The food is very pricey. $26 for a 12 ounce well liquor drink. Lunch was $150 for 2 adults and 1 kid after tip, and that’s for burgers. Same for hotdogs. Dinner is at least twice that. No service by the lagoon. Very few chairs for people by the lagoon. We are early risers so we were able to get them, but if you weren’t there by 8-830, there were no chairs left.

I hope this email is helpful. I am writing to express my concerns about my recent stay at your hotel, a stay that left me deeply dissatisfied and disappointed. I had booked a specific type of room and prepaid for my stay. However, when I arrived at your hotel, I was informed that the room I had booked had been upgraded to a higher priced room category. While this seemed to be a kind gesture, I was immediately greeted by a strong and unpleasant odor upon entering the room. This odor severely impacted my stay and made me feel very uncomfortable. After expressing my concerns at the front desk, I asked to be transferred back to the room type I had originally booked. However, I was told that there were no other rooms of the same type available. I was deeply disappointed that as a guest who had prepaid for a specific room type, I was not able to receive the accommodation I had booked and was instead assigned a room with an unpleasant odor. Furthermore, my dissatisfaction was compounded when I was approached by a person claiming to be the manager to discuss the matter. Their attitude was dismissive and rude. Instead of offering a solution, they insisted that I accept the current arrangement and offered no help or solution. I found the behavior of this manager to be completely unsatisfactory and not up to the standards expected of your hotel. I would be grateful if your hotel could satisfactorily resolve this matter and restore my confidence in your hotel.

Loved the ease of getting around the property. The daily self parking fee was way too much! I could see that charge if you got valet but self park was way high! Surprised that a village hotel like this didn’t have better dining options on site. There are a lot of options if you have a car.

To start off the trip I was surprised with $55/day parking for our rental car. It probably said that some place when I booked but was definitely caught off guard. We hated the resort. It seemed like nothing was ever open. We were in the Palace tower and it seemed like about a half hour walk to get a cup of coffee. Of all of the restaurants at the place, there is only one place to sit down and eat lunch, the lagoon grill. The lagoon grill food was decent but didnt plan on eating lunch there every day. None of the other restaurants opened til about 4:30. It was about as hard to get a drink around there as a cup of coffee. There was small bars next to the pools that closed at 5pm. The taphouse didnt open until 430. It was ridiculous. The food was way overpriced. To get a pizza from the onsite italian restaurant it was $120. We were very disappointed and wouldn't go back if it was free. Don't make the same mistake we did, go someplace else!

Loved the lagoon for swimming - better than getting beaten up by the ocean surf. Grounds, walkways, canals were beautifully and artistically arranged and accented by all of the Asian statuary and flatwork. Go0t my "steps" in everyday walking from one end to the other - occasionally took the tram which was a nice break at the end of a long day. Parking expensive as were the restaurants - we ate elsewhere most of the time.

The property had some construction going on across from our room but they did respect sleep hours. The tram broke down regularly but we were happy to walk the property to get in our steps :) The lagoon is amazing! Easy to snorkel and swim with the turtles. The breakfast buffet was also amazing! Great food quality and options.
