There is a partial Ocean View from the lanai. There is a 37-inch TV in the living room and a large walk-in closet next to the bathroom. The kitchen features Granite Counters and stainless-steel appliances. There is also a Queen Sofa Sleeper which allows for up to three guests. The Whaler is an amazing location in Ka'anapali right in Whaler's Village. The unit was big enough for the two of us, with views of the beach and ocean. While there is a dedicated parking pass, underground parking was rarely available, though there is an overflow surface lot very close by. When using the only crowded pool, they operate using towel cards ( 1 old crappy towel per card) If you don’t have your car then NO towel for you! I had to walk a half mile to grab this stupid towel card to get a towel for my 3 year old. Mom , Dad show up at the pool with our toddler with 2 cards given at check-in, No Towel for the baby ! The studio unit was updated, very spacious, and had a great view of the July sunset. The full kitchen had everything that we needed for our weeklong stay and we were able to prepare many of our meals in our unit. Compared to many of the large resorts on Kaanapali the check-in and check-out process was quick, stress free, and easy. We were literally a 2 minute walk to the restaurants and shopping at Whalers Village and a five minute walk to Black Rock. Joseph and Blade at the beach cabana were able to provide us with beach umbrellas, chairs, towels, and snorkeling equipment - snorkeling at black rock is a must.
