The room was nice minus the rather large yellow stain on the floor. The staff was friendly asking us how the room was when we got in. We enjoyed the access to hot cocoa, tea or coffee. Our room was close to the elevator & doors for easy parking & entrance/exit. We overheard other guests say You are allowed pets however you cannot leave them in the rooms when you leave. They would not have brought their dogs knowing that.

Bad Night Auditor
We arrived at 11:15pm On 12-6-23 ,a lady named "Emily" ( or so she said her name was) was mean and extremely unhelpful. I had to call Hotels.com, they were extremely helpful to me with her. They called her,she was rude and unhelpful to them also. They refunded my money because this night auditor was so rude. When they hung up with her, she proceeded to tell me that "she can't even understand foreigners! And mumble other racial slurs. I've never had a front desk human be so nasty. They are usually over helpful. Never go here. It the Best Western with the casino attached.

Upon arrival, we were checked into our rooms, however when we entered one of them, someone was already checked into that room. It was a little bit of a hassle, but apparently the front desk had checked someone into the wrong room, so had let them sign the folio under my name, didn't verify ID at the time. It was resolved and the rest of the stay was fine.

Upon check-in, neither of the girls knew how to check us in for a reservation and almost charged us twice when we had already paid online. They were not very familiar with the area to recommend places for eating, and most places were closed. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.

We stayed a Monday and Tuesday night. The restaurants close by were all closed. Very few were open at all. We ended up going to the Bow and Marrow which was delicious but almost 2 miles away.
