Come enjoy the newly remodeled oceanview unit that has a wonderful ocean crossbreeze from the trade winds and air conditioning also now we are happy we have a brand new septic system. This one of a kind place is probably the best swimming and snorkeling beach on this island and with a newly remodled kitchen and bathroom that’s kept sparkling clean. This beachfront condo is best for swimming, snorkeling, canoeing and sunbathing fun. Turtles are everywhere on this very calm beachfront that often has balmy sea breezes and as for swimming, it’s protected by a reef and great for kids too as the water is perfect and usually calm, clear and inviting. The lawn out front is like carpet also and the beach is pristine with clear tiel waters. Just step outside onto the beach or relax on patio outside under an umbrella table or on the units lanai and sip a beverage and see the waves and palm trees sway. Watch tv on a 52 inch smart cable tv on one of the two comfy chairs (one makes into a twin size sleeper and there’s a futon topper for extra comfort, and the other is a straight back chair) or just watch while relaxing on the full size bed on a memory foam mattress and pillows with the remote or better yet, go outside and discover the surroundings and lounge on one of the many beach chairs while watching the waves or sit under an umbrella table and grill on the BBQ and eat on a picnic table or by the swimming pool. There is Free WiFi and a full size bed in a small back room area and a breezy ceiling fan up above each bed. The place is perfect for two people and works for three and even four, you’ll love the grounds too.You won’t need anything however but this place if you decide to stay here and take in the beauty of the swaying palm trees and quiet paradise lawn with sunbathing chairs. If this sounds like paradise to you then This place is for you! The unit also has an ocean breeze while listening to the waves on the full size bed in front room with memory foam mattress. There’s also a Full size bed in back area also has memory foam mattress that Sleeps 2 more. We do recommend however you consider the place is smaller and works best for 2-3 people. 4 will work however if you must and it’s private in the back with some space for luggage in closet and a dresser drawer to unpack. Total we can handle is 4\. There’s a Sleeper chair in front also that makes to bed when legs extended from zipper holder on back and pulled down. Extra cushion topper futon for more comfort. Many collectibles removed as per guest recommendations and we always have and always will professionally clean everything between stays and provide new linens and pillows and towels changing them regularly. Our cleaners use our new hydrosteam crosswave mop vac steamer that leaves the place spotless between each guest. You may also book a additional cleaning after three or four days if you need one at an additional discounted cost. Just ask the host. You will love relaxing in our comfy condo after a day on the beach or touring about the many attractions close by. (There is also half and entire large closet that has all the swim equipment and Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella you will need and for your use and a smaller cloths hanger area, (to put your belongings and a full size dresser for your cloths.) Nearly everyone who has visited has loved the place and commented on its charm. When you stay with us you won’t regret it. The memories will last forever. The ocean is calm and clear and everyone is usually is swimming and snorkeling or just sunbathing or lying under a palm tree. The unit is also clean and quiet and professionally cleaned after each guest. All sheets, pillows, blankets, rugs, linens and towels are sanitized after each guest and either new or clean. My pillows are very comfortable also. I use cotton sheets also. The place is very rare and a hidden gem…, like a Diamond in the rough. The swimming beach is awesome for children and adults alike as it’s protected by a reef and teaming with turtles and we have seen manta ray and even a monk seal. There’s a large grass area with swaying palm trees and the grass is like carpet with lawn chairs and picnic tables and umbrella tables too. It’s like heaven and we look forward to spending time there whenever we can and can’t wait to go back there ourselves as its our happy place. Also there is spalling and painting work being done on the end of the building and its ongoing and intermittent sometimes with noise and however noone has complained as it’s only during working hours and never on weekends. Most people are touring or on the gorgeous beachfront so it hasn’t been an issue. Also work on the parking lot has begun (mid Feb 26) and working men are replacing pipes located under the parking lot. Expect to park down at Kaya’s market about 100 years away (however there will be a drop off area for luggage) and full time security for the vehicles at Kaya’s and Our building also has 24 hour security. We are giving a huge discounted rate because of this work. It’s only sorting working hours and never on weekends. There may be intermittent water shutoffs occasionally (rarely) but only during working hours and never on weekends as well. We have a new bigger AC as of today. The beachfront is paradise and you can always close the door to the parking area and turn on the AC to avoid any disturbance that may occure if any. Parking was a challenge for an SUV. It didn't help that it was raining and huge puddles. We found if we parked nearer to the stairwell closest to the unit, it was easier to get to the unit and beach and less stressful than navigating around the construction which was loud. The unit was clean (Except for the freezer) as was the beds and bedding. The apartment was cute but too cluttered. My husband is tall and disabled and found it very cramped--less is more. If you are going to be on the beach and out and about--no worries. Perfect for young college students. That being said--the beach is perfect. We swam even in the rain, saw pretty fish and turtles. Janet’s condo is in a fantastic location within a few steps of a wonderful beach with turtles and beautiful sunrises. There is an ocean view from the condo but has some obstruction from a building in front of the condo. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable, and the shower is great with hot water. While we were there, the complex was being updated and the construction noise outside was loud at times. It didn’t bother us because we would leave shortly after the construction crew arrived to go out exploring during the day. We loved the location and would definitely stay here again. ##### Linda G. The home was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and there were many thoughtful amenities provided for the beach, which made our trip even easier. You can feel the Aloha spirit in how the owner communicates—she was so flexible, quick to respond, and truly helpful throughout our stay.One small note for future guests: while the photos give the impression of a clear ocean view from the front window, there are other buildings that partially obstruct it. This wasn’t a problem for us at all, since the beach is just a few steps away, and we spent our time enjoying the view right by the water. The small AC unit doesn’t cool the house drastically, so if you’re not comfortable opening the front and back doors to let the tradewinds breeze through, that’s something to keep in mind.One of the absolute highlights was visiting the beach late at night and seeing 10–15 turtles resting on the shore (just remember to keep your distance and avoid flashlights or flash photography). Another magical moment was heading out around 5:15 a.m. to watch the turtles return to the sea as the sun rose—a truly special experience.All in all, this home provided the perfect setting for relaxation, comfort, and memorable moments. It was exactly as advertised (except the AC doesn’t really do anything). It wasn’t quite as comfortable as we would’ve liked for our honeymoon. It was really an amazing spot. We spent a lot of time walking the beach in the water and lounging on the chairs in the evening just enjoying the breeze and the stars. ##### Sheri S. The owner is prompt with communication. The beach is beautiful with calm waters. We even saw sea turtles one morning! Having traveled to the tropics before, we know that AC is a rare commodity. We also know coming back to a cool bedroom is a luxury we are willing to pay for. Unfortunately, the AC in this unit was entirely inadequate. It was actually hotter in the condo after running it than it was without. Our only option to get any sleep was to leave the front and lanai doors open all night. Which meant waking up to neighbors staring in and a light from the hallway in our faces all night. Oh, and ice packs for our feet. The owner did offer to refund the charge for AC, which we are grateful for (but haven’t seen yet.) ##### Joseph J. The size of the rental was perfect for our needs as we basically used it as a landing zone b/w excursions and so did not spend a lot of time inside. The building is the construction site with scaffolding and construction materials around and in the building. The unit is advertised as newly renovated while furniture seems very old and moldy. The unit had dirt and dust on the shelves, sink and kitchen ceiling lights when we arrived. The bedroom is not the proper bedroom: no door (just curtain), no window just old and dirty air vent covered with a towel through which you hear all the outside noise. The bathroom ceiling fan is very low and has visible electrical wires - very dangerous electrical shock hazard. The area is messy and noisy during the day when renovation is going on. Workers start early in the morning around 8am. The apartment is outdated and very crowded. Tiny ant is a big pest problem. Séjour de 5 nuits en janvier 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Miranda J. 25 oct. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Oahu Stay This is by far one of the most unique areas of Oahu, where you were able to visit both the North Shore and South Shores in an hour drive. The private beach location was extremely unique, to be able to walk out the door to the water. We saw plenty of sea turtles and even a harmless shark. Janet provides all the things needed for beach fun, as well. While we were there, there was a lot of construction going on, which we were warned about just a few days before arriving. The work was mid-day, but made parking a little difficult, and some strong smells in the morning. One thing to note, is that this is more of a studio style condo, and the most comfort for sleeping would be the living room futon. The portable AC unit wasn't working for us, which we let Jan know, and tried leaving the condo doors open, but could not get enough breeze to come through - and the mid-day/night downpours would often get things pretty wet. Overall, Janet has everything you need to enjoy the beach and the location is 5 stars. If you're doing Oahu the right way, you should be gone during the day and have the evenings to enjoy the beach, then have a roof over your head. ##### Miranda J. We love the North Shore and it was close to everything. We had a lovely walk on the beach and enjoyed sitting out on the lanae at sunrise. The kitchen has everything I needed to cook up yummy meals.
