Les Arcis is an elegant country house set in extensive enclosed grounds comprising formal gardens and parkland with grand mature trees, an orchard, and a small vineyard. The original building dates back to the 1700s and was the hunting lodge of Colbert, finance minister to Louis XIV. There are many places to relax and enjoy the serenity of this magnificent property: long, lazy lunches in the shade of the old yew tree; a barbecue by the pool, with views across fields of sunflowers and barley and over the park and beyond to the river Serein; tennis, cycling or ping pong followed by evening drinks on the terrace and a game of boules before dinner under the stars to the chatter of cicadas.

Ground floor:

-Two double bedrooms (with bath and sink in room)
-Two twin rooms (which can also be made up as super king doubles)
- One smaller double room (double size bed)
- 1 Bathroom with bath & toilet
-1 separate toilet
-Separate ‘wet room’ with walk in shower
-1 ‘hidden’ WC on stairs between floors

Atelier (a beautifully converted outbuilding):
-Mezzanine bedroom (1 double bed, 1 single bed) which is ideal for young adults or a small family that wants privacy.
-Bathroom with shower & toilet
-Large games room with TV
-Log burning stove
-Variety of board games, jigsaw puzzles, etc. along with some arts & crafts, and a dressing up box.
