Race day

Stayed for the Hattiesburg half marathon. Location was a very short walk to the start of the race and perfect for the festival afterward.

Kelly, the propery owner, was so kind to accomodate our check in request. Prompt and friendly responses. The Whitman was clean and well appointed. LOVE the layout and the artsy vibe.

Quirky and fun

Staying here was like staying in a museum with a bedroom. It's in a great location, and there are food options within a very short walking distance. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only downside was that it was a little difficult to find the parking spot, in the dark. Otherwise, Fantastic!

Home in Hattiesburg

The overall impression of our stay was wonderful. Great communication with the owner from beginning to end. The home is well appointed with everything you would need. The artwork was amazing throughout the home. The feeling inside the home was warm and welcoming. The location for the downtown area was perfect. Many places to go within walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in and looking for a great stay!

The Whitman is a quirky property in downtown Hattiesburg. The downtown area is very walkable and shopping is a short drive away. Would use this property again.

Long weekend get away

Very nice, unique experience. Had an art gallery type of feel, but still very cozy. Enjoyed the Alexa automation.
