"We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again! The house is cute, comfortable, and in a perfect location tucked into a quiet, friendly community directly across from a private marina with easy water access. There was plenty of parking for our vehicle and kayak trailer, and we loved relaxing on the balcony each evening to enjoy the sound view and beautiful sunsets. (Bring bug spray if visiting in the summer!)The home was exceptionally well stocked with cookware, cleaning supplies, dishwasher tablets, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other essentials, which made our week-long stay very easy. The outdoor rinse-off shower attached to the home was a huge plus after sandy beach days. We also appreciated the owner’s quick response in providing extra paper towels and bath towels when requested.A couple of minor areas for improvement: the main shower drain tended to back up during use, and we noticed some pet hair on the furniture and linens despite the home being listed as pet-free. The home otherwise appeared clean, and neither issue took away from our overall experience.Overall, this is a charming home in a fantastic Hatteras location, and we would happily recommend it to others."

"The hotel was nice and clean. The amenities were good. The pool was excellent. Our neighbors in the room next to us were a little loud with their tv and laughing all night. Luckily they left 2 days later. We didn’t see anyone to tell about it. It would have been better if we could have seen someone and talk about it but other than that was good, and we enjoyed it. The last day we saw someone of the hotel and he was very nice. One of our outlets was not working but everything else was ok and good."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The property was well located, clean, and it had everything we needed. We were able to bring our dog. Our host, Bruce, was very accommodating and a wealth of knowledge regarding the area. We look forward to staying here again sometime!"

"The place was VERY clean, great kitchen supplies (dishes, utensils, towels, etc…), very comfortable bed, beautiful ocean view, easy access to the beach, shops and restaurants in walking distance, excellent place for a couples get away. Only very minor thing that would have been helpful is it would be nice to have instructions to operate the tv system. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!"
