"A little challenging to get to but once you’re there you understand why. Really beautiful location. Tough to get food at night because most of the restaurants cater only to the daytime tourists which was tough and the ferry only runs so late so you can’t get dinner late and head back. Would suggest two nights at most and hotel should be a bit more proactive about suggesting offsite food options. Staff was nice when we got there and accommodating. Loved the daytime adventures. "Beautiful view of the water and fishing boats. Incredibly peaceful and great experience of Japanese ryokan. The dinner and breakfast were also very nice."

"Best part is you are steps from the shrine. Dinner was in a private room. Hotel is on top of a creek with waterfall. Onsen was perfect. It was the crown jewel of our vacation. "

"This was my second stay at the Live Max Miyahama Resort. I was running late and going to miss dinner. The reception called me to ask if I was going to make it. The dining room even stayed open an addition 30 minutes for me to finish eating. Very kind and professional establishment! Will keep coming back!"
