It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin with wrap around deck, front porch and hot tub. . The scenery on the property is beautiful and there is access to many ATV and walking trails and our 12-acre lake only about 300 yards from the cabin. Walk on a trail through the trees to the lake or drive over for easy access. At the lake, there are kayaks and canoe available for our guests. The lake is stocked with wide mouth bass, catfish, blue gill and perch. Our guests are allowed to fish with catch and release policy. The property is in its own little valley with a forest of hard wood and pine trees, and open areas. It is conveniently located less than a half mile from the highway, yet private. You can hear the highway and a nearby train from the cabin in the distance. The entrance to the Cornerstone property is at the intersection of County Road 30 and Cornerstone Lane, Hatfield, AR. The best coordinate for GPS systems is 283 Cornerstone Lane, Hatfield, AR, which takes you to the cabin. Those who make reservations, will receive detailed directions to our cabin, Sunset Cabin. Pets are allowed with a $40 fee per pet per stay. We do ask that the pets stay off of the furniture and must be house trained. All linens are provided and the kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, drip coffee maker, coffee & filters, etc. Payment schedule: 30% due at time of booking, and then 30% due 14 days days before arrival. Remaining balance due 7 days before arrival. Cancellation policy: 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 14 days before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 7 days before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after. The house was very clean and well-stocked for our stay. Mary (Host) was attentive and always made herself available, but things went so smoothly we didn't need to take her up on it. My nephew wanted a cabin in the woods experience and we were not disappointed. My other nephew gets bored easily so this property also had lots of activities to keep the teens entertained. Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing (catch and release) and some hiking trails. We also were able to bring a 4 wheeler and rented an ATV from a local company that picked up and dropped off at the cabin. There are lots of local atv trails we could easily access and enjoy not too far from the property.My family lives in Dallas and it was only a 4 hour drive. A tiny 4.5 hour drive from FW and we were eyeball deep in harmonizing crickets and sweet summer hay. Drive for a 45 minutes to an hour and you can be in several different state parks amd trail area. It's an awesome home base as it is off the highway enough to provide privacy, but close enough to pop on in for a quick drive. We usually travel to Arkansas in the winter so I was not prepared for the vibrant and terrifying insect life. I'm sure it's a sign of a healthy ecosystem, but as a horror film fan, I take issue. 😆 Anyway, those walking sticks are otherwordly. ##### Miranda C. The cabin was clean, had comfortable beds! And All the supplies you would need. Mary was available with quick responses to anything we asked. Hot tub super clean. Having a Fire pit and grill was great too! We Loved that the cabin had cable. And the pond was super close with easy access. Just a beautiful place! ##### shawna d. Enjoy coffee while watching the wildlife. When you need to getaway from all of the fastness of this world, this is the place to go! We weren’t disappointed. The cabin and grounds are a perfect getaway and it’s well taken care of. Mary is precise with the cabin instructions and it is well stocked with everything you need (besides food, and there is even some flour, sugar, spices, etc). The hot tub and fire pit on the deck was very relaxing. It was a very worthwhile trip and I hope we will be back soon. ##### Eric D. Everything was so clean and the scent diffusers added so much to the experience! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while taking Talimena Drive. If you're looking for a staycation destination, this is it! There's enough room for a group to spread out and do your own thing. We tried out the hot tub and it was amazing! We didn't have enough time this trip to start a fire in the fire pit, but will definitely do so next time, along with taking a trip down the road to the gorgeous lake. Mary was very accommodating with any needs we had, and let us stay a little over check-out time when our laundry wasn't dried completely, even though she didn't have to. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a place to stay near Mena! ##### Cassandra P.
