Located on the edge of the country park, but in walking distance of Hastings Old Town, the beach, and all amenities. We are in an excellent location for your family reunion or gathering of friends, and a huge outdoor space if you are travelling with pets Our large, spacious, modern detached house has 2 bathrooms with showers, large communal living room, and a large garden which backs out onto the East Hill and Country Park leading to miles and miles of remote clifftop walks leading to secluded beaches. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, range cooker, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen has seating for 16, so that everyone can eat together. If you are travelling with elderly relatives or people with mobility issues, then it is worth noting that there are 16 steps up from street level to the house. they are quite steep, but there is a handrail. On the ground floor level there are three double bedrooms, a 4-person family bedroom, and a bathroom. On the upper floor there is a double bedroom, a 4-person family bedroom, and bathroom The kitchen is fully equipped, with everything you are likely to need to cater for a large group. 300mbps full fibre internet with WiFi throughout Other things to note \---------------------- Please post a photograph on your profile and tell us the purpose of your visit. If you generate more than half a wheelie bin of either rubbish or recycling then please take the excess away with you. Please use the recycling bins correctly. It took hours for the house to warm up and the kitchen and front downstairs bedroom didn’t ever warm up. The heating should have been set to come on so that it was warm before our expected arrival.There are draughts coming in around the windows in the kitchen, you can’t be in this room without the log burner on, Cold air comes down the fireplace in bedroom 1 which has a sheet stuffed up it to no effect, it is too cold to sleep comfortably in. The upstairs front bedroom where the baby slept was also very cold and we only managed to get the temperature upto 16 degrees on the 1st night. The temperature of the downstairs shower can’t be adjusted, it’s boiling hot. There are no sheets or towels provided unless you pay extra, I have never known this in a rented house, the pictures show the bedrooms all made up. There is no access to the locked freezer unless you pay extra. There is no recycling, you are only allowed half a bag which is madness for a house which is advertised for 16 people. There are an extraordinary amount of house rules, too many ! The outside of the house is not white, it is covered with green algae. The house needs to have replacement windows in order to be comfortable, I imagine it’s fine in the summer but not in the winter, 2500 is a lot of money to pay to be cold. I would not recommend anyone to stay in this house in the winter, with some repairs it could be lovely. ##### Alison Hunter Séjour de 3 nuits en décembre 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Tabassum A. 15 août 2025 Points forts : Propreté We had a very pleasant stay at this spacious and comfortable home, which was well-suited for our larger group. The garden was a particular highlight, offering ample space and the added delight of fresh fruit to pick. The location is great, being within a short walking distance of the beach and sea (20mins). The property was generally tidy, there were a few spiderwebs which luckily didn't have any spiders. If these were removed it would enhance the experience. Parking proved somewhat challenging on the recommended road due to its narrowness, especially with an SUV and two vehicles. Consequently, we opted to park around the corner, where it was more convenient and felt safer.In summary, we enjoyed our stay and found the location to be great. ##### Tabassum A.
