Nice hotel but
Sadly the hotel location shown on Hotels.com is wrong, 10 days after I advised both the owner and Hotels.com. It is actually on south west of Markt Platz (prob 7 minutes walk), on Hohe Strasse towards Carl-Ritter Strasse. Having arrived at the station at night with only a wrong map, I had a great trouble locating the hotel. Also note that there is no staff in the evening - it might not be suitable if you plan to arrive at the town late or expect services such as catering or a tourist map/ information/ tips/ booking. I couldn't find a hairdrier anywhere and had to give it up... Otherwise the hotel itself is very nice in a quiet part of town. I had a pleasant stay in a room with a surprisingly lovely castle view.

Rustic and charming stay in old town Quedlinburg
Hotel Adelheid was charming and rustic ,it is situated on a quiet side street not far from the town square . There is a maze of cobblestone streets leading to the historic Rathaus in the center . Good regional specialties in the pubs and cafes , try the Harz platter featuring sausages and spreads from local farms . There is a weekly open air market in most small towns , always worth a stroll thru .There was additional wifi in the town center area. The hotel offered a plentiful breakfast with rolls , breads jams , cold cuts ,fruit and cheeses and fresh roast coffee . The hotel also offered a two day regional bus pass valid for day of arrival & day of departure , that was included in the booking , a nice perk for exploring the area, a pleasant surprise and helpful in continuing my journey thru the Harz.

Disappointing - Not Quiet - No Parking
Two-night stay. Our room (#5) was tiny, a narrow corridor with two twin beds shoved head to head against the wall and a single window at the end of the room. The room was by far the smallest room of our 3 week tour of Europe. Inadequate cabinet or closet space. No place except the floor to put anything in the bathroom. Wifi would not work anywhere in or near the room -- my wife and I had to sit in the central second floor lobby seating area on the single love seat or go downstairs to the breakfast room to connect s-l-o-w-l-y to the internet. Very creaky and noisy hallways and stairs - guests coming and going all night - hollering and yelling after their evenings out at the pubs. No staff available after 6pm, so you are on your own regardless of how unruly other guests are. There is a large busy Brew Pub directly behind property - the yelling and loud drunks from the beer garden went on into the wee hours of the morning. Hotel has no parking - we were not aware of this when making our on-line Travelocity reservation. We were told to park in one of the public lots 2-4 blocks away for 5 Euro per day - but the lots were all full. We had to park nearly a kilometer away in a residential area and walk back to the hotel. This hotel is 2 star at best. Service was barely polite and civil. My USA issued credit card was discouraged with a sniff and a sneer - she wanted me to go to an ATM and get cash. I refused and insisted on use of the credit card per the Travelocity terms.

Beste Lage und ganz liebe Besitzerin
Sauberes Hotel , leider mit recht alter Zimmerausstattung und wenigen Steckdosen. Lage wirklich gut , mitten in der Altstadt . Leider keine kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten. Liebe und bemühte Besitzerin, uriges Ambiente .

Schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Quedlinburg. Die Hofdurchfahrt, die Rezeption, der Frühstücksraum und die Flure sowie der Hof sind sehr gut hergerichtet (mittelalterliches Gebäude, Biedermeiereinrichtung). Die Zimmer sind allerdings sehr schlicht - aber funktional.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strassenseite. Durch das Kopfsteinpflaster war der Verkehr sehr laut. Das Bad war winzig. Die Frühstückszeit war etwas spät mit 8.30 Uhr. Grosses Plus: Das Vermieterehepaar.

Elendig mad overalt i byen, man får indtryk af tyskerne ikke kan lave mad. De kan ødelægge en burger spagetti og alt andet, sukker i alt, kryderrier eksistere ikke. Morgenmaden på hotellet var tarvelig når man ser på prisen

Schönes Hotel, sehr nette Bedienung. Leider "schlechte" Parkplatz Möglichkeit (Öffenlicher Parkplatz der extra kostet). Aber im vollen und ganzen ein schönes Hotel wo man hin kann wenn man dort ist.

Gemütliches Hotel ; sympathische Bewirtschaftung
Das kleine Hotel ist zentral gelegen. Vom Bahnhof ist es etwa 15 Gehminuten entfernt. Die Wirtsleute sind zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich. Gleich beim Einchecken bekam ich Tipps für den Aufenthalt und wurde gefragt, ob es etwas gäbe, dass ich zum Frühstück benötigen würde. Das war guter Service und ein vielversprechender Anfang. Mein Einzelzimmer war groß genug für mich und funktional eingerichtet, das Bad war sauber und wirkte recht neu. Hier gab es nichts auszusetzen, außer zwei kleinen Dingen. Am Schreibtisch direkt gab es keine Steckdose, so dass man auf eine andere Dose im Raum ausweichen musste. Und man muss natürlich dran denken, dass dies ein altes Fachwerkhaus ist, in dem Barrierefreiheit nicht gegeben ist. An der Zimmertür befand sich eine Stufe, ebenso am Zugang zum Badezimmer. Wer also nachts im Dunkeln sein Geschäft verrichten muss, sollte diese Stufe immer im Hinterkopf behalten ... Die Geräusche aus dem Biergarten, die man im hoteleigenen Innenhof noch deutlich hörte, waren im Zimmer auch bei offenem Fenster nicht mehr zu hören. Sitzen kann man sowohl in diesem Innenhof als auch auf einem Balkon des Aufenthaltsbereichs. Das Frühstücksbuffet war angesichts eines 6-Zimmer-Hotels sehr variantenreich und lecker. Auch hier gab es aus meiner Sicht nichts zu meckern. Nach Quedlinburg werde ich so bald nicht wieder kommen, aber solange dieses Hotel wie bisher betrieben wird, ist es eine absolute Empfehlung !!! Als Ausflugsziel empfehle ich Thale mit der Rosstrappe

Nettes kleines Hotel mit persönlichem Service
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist in das Fachwerkensemble eingebettet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und unauf- dringlich. Die Hotelbesitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit. Wir können das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Mein Einzelzimmer war sauber, vernünftig, allerdings etwas altmodisch eingerichtet, die Matratze sehr gut. Leider ein wenig hellhörig, da genau an der Treppe gelegen. Das Bad war neu, die Dusche prima. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das Frühstück in Anbetracht der geringen Zimmeranzahl umfangreich. Natürlich müssen gegenüber einem 5* Hotel Abstriche gemacht werden, jedoch ist das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung. Quedlinburg ist ansonsten ein sehr schöner Ort, die Umgebung toll. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.

Bra hotell men många trappor
Bra hotell. Men det är en gammal byggnad så det är mycket trappor. Parkeringen är på huvudparkeringen i staden. Men det går att köra fram och lasta i och ur. Åk inre till denna stad på måndagar då mycket har vilodag.

tolles Wochenende in Quedlinburg
ein kleines,induviduelles Altstadthotel, inmitten der historischen Fachwerkstadt,sauber, etwas verwinkelt, eben Fachwerk, sehr nettes und freundliches Betreiberehepaar,denen man anmerkt, dass es Ihnen Spaß macht. Frühstück zu 3,50 € war mindestens 4 Sterne Nivau, wir werden im Sommer/Herbst noch einmal kommen um auch den schönen Innenhof zu nutzen, hatb uns ganz toll gefallen.

Gut gepflegtes Baudenkmal - optimal genutzt
Hotel Adelheit ist ein liebevoll instandgesetztes Kaufmannshaus mit Biedermeier-flair, dessen Nutzung als Hotel die historische Innenstadt von Quedlinburg erhalten hilft. Die Betreiber geben sich die größte Mühe, eine heimelige Atmosphäre für ihre Gäste zu gewährleisten, man wird mit ausgesuchter Höflichkeit und Freundlichkeit betreut. Gerade weil das Frühstück die richtige Balance zwischen Vielfalt und Überschaubarkeit hält, war mir auch dieser Aspekt sympathisch. Der Ausblick auf das verwahrloste Nachbargrundstück war leider weniger erfreulich - ist jedoch behebbar.

hyggeligt- i centrum
Rigtig hyggelig og super rent. Placering i centrum. Vi fik en flot modtagelse og blev behandlet med stor venlighed - hjælpsomhed. Badeværelset var dog ikke stort. Morgenmaden var god. Vi kommer gerne igen
