Spend your days riding bikes around the neighborhood, playing lawn games outside in the yard, and hosting summer barbecues on the sunny patio. This home sits on a spacious piece of property on a quiet, dead-end road, making it especially well-suited to families with children. Use the provided bikes (one adult-size, two kid-size) to ride half a mile to Earle Road Beach each morning, where you can swim in the warm waters of Nantucket Sound. You'll also be half a mile from Bud's Go-Karts (with bumper boats, putt-putt, and trampolines as well), and less than a mile from shops and restaurants in the center of Harwich Port. Stroll home from the beach in the afternoon to rinse off in the outdoor shower, hang your swimsuits on the clothesline, and stash the provided beach chairs for tomorrow. Light the gas grill for an early dinner, watch your kids play tag in the grass, and sit down to eat at the patio table at sunset. The interior is as charming and classic as they come, boasting the original knotty pine walls throughout. Yet the house has also been thoughtfully updated with refinished hardwood floors, a new ceiling, new lighting, an updated bathroom, and all new beds and mattresses. Stream movies in the living room each evening, gather in the sunroom to play cards or Xbox One, and fix mugs of hot cocoa in the well-equipped kitchen. THINGS TO KNOW The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. There is no washer/dryer. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Bed was super comfortable! Wood panels was beautiful! BATHROOM is tiny. Close to everything. Quiet neighborhood, kitchen was well stocked. Listing said no washer and dryer but there is in a shed out back. We had to wash our wash cloths since there was not enough for 7 days. Small house good for pet as backyard was fenced. end of dead end road meant no traffic. well stocked kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. I found the fees, however, to be onerous and a surprise. Why a service fee so large for Expedia, on top of pet fee, cleaning fee? Do not stay here for less than a week. The location is very nice, close to beaches, restaurants and the grocery store. Be careful as not to lock yourself out via closing the sleeping porch door without checking the handle first. It was also extraordinarily expensive for what it offers. The house has seen some wear and tear and needs to be fixed up before it should welcome guests or be priced lower. For example, a metal pipe should not be sticking out of the ground in the backyard when this home is accepting reservations. ##### Andrew B.
