Not the greatest locationPosted 15-Jan-2018
Cigarette burns on the comforter. Along with gross stains. Shower had black paint drips all over it. Beds were uncomfortable. Tv wouldn’t work. People above us were loud and stomped around all night. I was very disappointed. I complained and got the tv fixed the next morning. I have pictures of the lamps that sometimes worked with peeling insides, along with all the other nasty things.

Hotel is in pretty poor shapePosted 6-Jan-2018
Pros: It was available
Cons: Facilities, furniture, add staff to maintain hotel.
Location: Location next to highway, sketchy neighborhood, not very good choice for family.
Hotel is old, furniture is falling apart, maintenance is poor, remote was missing, Cabinet door fell out of hinge. Area surrounding hotel is covered with junk, old mattresses etc. If I had a choice, we would keep driving away from this place. This is shame for Travelodge brand.

Nice hotel retro type with inside court yard (Posted 18-Nov-2017
Pros: Centrally located in a safe area. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Expand breakfast area making it separate from lobby area by this I mean more seating area.add some outside furniture to pool area.
Location: Nearby shopping area available. Try the China doll for either take out or dine in. Excellent food comparable to places such San Francisco New York..
Pleasant inside courtyard with two swimming pools. They are currently in process of renovation, however the room I had was completely refurbished. The continental complementary was small, however with onh going renovation the room across from lobby desk was in process of remodeling. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dining was available nearby. Like I said is a retro of motor inns from the 60's_70's era. Peacefully quiet and restful (especially inner court side rooms) work in progress give it a try.

Didn't stay.Posted 13-Nov-2017
It was so disappointing and disgusting, that we didn't even stay. Room was supposed to be non smoking, but it smelled like a bar room. Sheets weren't even washed.

One Pool Open, One Pool ClosedPosted 6-Nov-2017
Pros: Staff was friendly & helpful.
Cons: New towels. They were very used.
Location: A couple of convenience stores that close early is all you will find here within walking distance.
I had to warm-up to this hotel. Didn’t feel safe the first night. Across the street is the multi-level Drivers’ License Building with its manicured landscaping, and the hotel side of the street was not kept at all. Not a great place to take a walk.

Convenient locationPosted 6-Nov-2017
New Orleans seemed totally bombed for Halloween weekend. This hotel is in a great location from downtown. No problem with room, staff at front desk was ok. Housekeeping great. If I was planning a last minute trip again I would go back.

Travel LodgePosted 31-Oct-2017
Pros: If it was kept up would be nice.
Stayed two days. Shower did not work. Notified front desk the next morning. No other available rooms. Asked the shower be repaired that day. When I returned it still was not working. TV did not work. Notified front desk. Still not working when I returned. No trash can. No cups in room, no ice bucket, only one ice machine in working order One small bar of soap, no shampoo

Do not stay herePosted 31-Oct-2017
You get what you pay for! Needs a major face lift from the staff to the upkeep of the building to the condition of the rooms
