close to our event.

Posted 20-Mar-2017
The hotel was close to what we were in town for(tough mudder). The breakfast was horrible, just cereal, powered donuts, toast, muffins, coffee & orange juice. The room wreaked of cigarettes, had some missing tiles from the bathroom, had a few hairs in between the sheets & a dirty pillow. I also did not get the room I booked. I book a room with 1 king bed, but I got 2 queen beds. But I'm not surprised, you get what you pay for.

Complete waste of money!

Posted 20-Mar-2017
Complete waste of money! The staff was friendly, definitely need more than one person working front desk though. The bed was broken and kept falling deer in the middle of the night each night. Microwave was badly rusted on the inside. Could not use it, and the fridge does not work. Four people in our room, and the housekeeper kept leaving only two towels each day after we told the front desk every time. Also, the location of the hotel was very sketchy.

Just... ok

Posted 18-Mar-2017
Pool wasn't open, took 3 tries for them to give me keys that actually worked. Breakfast gross. Website showed waffles, in reality, just instant oatmeal and cold cereal. Did not see housekeeping the 6 days we were there. Beds comfortable though.

The hotel was nice, close to the French Quarter so we didn't have to drive too far to do what we wanted.

Stay somewhere else

Posted 7-Mar-2017
I read a few reviews thinking...maybe it's not so bad and maybe they've renovated since the reviews were written. Boy was I wrong! I was very disappointed in this hotel. The 1st room I was placed in smelled like cigarettes and sex(suppose 2 b non smoking). The TV didn't even have a power button and the remote didn't match the tv. The furniture looked like it came from a garage sale. So I asked to be moved. They moved me to a "better one" and it smelled like mildew. Needless to say please don't waste your money here. The rooms didnt have all the amenities it claimed it was suppose to have. The hotel/rooms didn't look ANYTHING like the pics!!! You will b very disappointed. It needs remodeling and tidying up. Pick another hotel not this one!

DO NOT BOOK! RUN!

Posted 2-Mar-2017
Dirty, filthy, nasty---- smells like dead people! Where do I begin! Dirty carpet, stains on sheets, towel dinghy, rings around tub, rings in toilet, old toilet seat, employees sleeping on lobby couch, dogs running around lobby, dog barking all night, pool gate slamming all night, grout in tile black, I had to buy sheets and towels at Walmart, shower shoes needed or risk getting staph infection, No bed bugs but they are on the way. Spoke with manager he offered $28 back on a three day stay! INSULTED! Won't even cover the cost of Lysol or the sheets I bought let alone the Ajax, bleach, towels gloves and rags to even be able to stay the three days.. other then the accommodations Mardi Gras was Great..... my wife tells me to stop being cheap I'll be at the Sheraton next year!

Not a bad place for a night

Posted 7-Feb-2017
All I wanted was a quiet place to sleep and it was indeed.
