This home is also 40 miles from Athens and 37 miles to Clemson, making it the perfect place to stay! The house is located in a small quiet street and we all slept soundly at night and felt well rested. The host was quick to respond to any questions that may come up. Entry to the property upon arrival was easy with a electronic door code. This cute rental is just a couple miles from downtown Hartwell and all their restaurants, stores and, new to us, Microbreweries. Also, it was only 2 miles from family that live in the area. The house was well decorated, very clean and comfortable. We rented at Thanksgiving and offered to bring 2 dishes to the family gathering. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The property manager really made the trip a great VRBO experience, especially with provided written information and prompt replies to texts.
