The property was fine, not nice or great, especially not given the price. The man who checked-us in behaved as if we were disturbing him and managed to assign us a room directly next to the elevator. Less than 12 inches from our door to the elevator. No one should ever have a room in a location like that. No coffee in the room, water $3 a bottle, and generally unwelcoming. Over priced and faux-hip-glam don’t work for me.

The place is nice on the whole , but room was very small and had no microwave. Also no view of outside but to the inside of a connected building . The door to the room had to be hollow because in the morning you could hear everyone’s comings and goings. No parking on site you are given the option of valet for $35 a day . So with the price of the room being over $350 a night you get a small room with a hollow door for noise no microwave , no view and no free parking . Just my expirience folks .

Absolutely amazing stay at The Goodwin! From making the turn onto Hayes, the hotel is a stand out from all the modern buildings. The architecture of The Goodwin is spectacular. and from the moment we arrived it delivered beyond my expectations again and again. from the check in process all the way to our room, every detail was immaculate. The decor is spectacular. the rooms SO clean and the beds were super comfortable. All the details like the make up wipes to the microwave in the room. to the dedicated make up vanity. as someone with allergies, i appreciated all the wood flooring. As an interior designer, no space was forgotten. it was all so thoughtfully and beautifully designed. Loved the location near so many attractions and amazing restaurants. would absolutely return and highly recommend.

The property had a good sized room and a good center to do work. However, no one inquired as to whether they could assist my wife with her bag and there is no where to have a quick meal in the hotel. Additionally, Hartford is a less than safe and inviting city. Good thing the cars are kept inside and secure. Had the been outside I would have not stayed.

Its a historical building. But for the cost i would expect toilet paper in the room. I would expect a coffee maker and a microwave as well. $3 bottled water is outrageous. The room was booked for 2 ppl and they gave us one bath robe. I was only there for a night but will definitely chose other accommodation s in the future. Ive stayed at motel 6s with better accommodations and price.

I would go back, but the restaurant was closed and breakfast was very limited. The hotel is beautiful, and the surroundings are quiet. There is no Tesla Charger at the hotel. There is one Tesla charger in walking distance.

absolute GEM! The Goodwin is my go-to hotel in Hartford. The rooms are immaculate, staff is kind and helpful and will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I will return again and again!

Nice, modern, comfortable hotel. Found some good restaurants around the hotel. Enjoyed walking to Bushnell Park. There was an annoying buzzing noise outside of my window, which made sleeping inconvenient.

It’s 3.5 stars
The air conditioning when turned on makes a lot of noise. The pillows are quite hard. Bed linen was shabby not crisp white and fresh looking.
