Wildlife Abundant. Not a neighbor in sight! Beautiful log cabin nestled in the Northwoods of Wisconsin on a dead end dirt road. Enjoy 1240 sq ft of living space on 4 wooded acres bordering county forestland. The cabin features a large 20'x13' master bedroom with large electric fireplace and patio doors leading to a 500 sq ft deck. The master bedroom has a King sized Sleep Number bed, 2 end tables, a dresser and a chair and ottoman. A separate laundry room with utility sink and closet for coats, boots etc. is located just inside the front door. The main bathroom features a double vanity, plenty of cabinet space, and a jetted tub. Towels and wash cloths are provided. The great room is a true entertainment area with a kitchen tucked in the corner that contains everything you need from utensils to plates to pots and pans along with a 3 stool breakfast bar and a kitchen table for 4 people. The great room also contains a love seat, couch, chair, and ottoman and a 55 inch flat screen TV with streaming services. In the center of the great room is a beautiful stone and knotty pine fireplace and patio doors leading to a 300 sq foot deck that overlooks the forest and a heavily traveled deer trail. Off of the great room is the 2nd bedroom which has 1 Queen bed, a dresser, 2 end tables, and a television with streaming services. A private 3/4 bath (sink, toilet and shower) is adjoined to this smaller bedroom. The home also features a 6'x12' front porch with a covered roof. With an abundance of windows, including huge trapezoid windows in the great room, this cozy cabin allows you many views of the beautiful outdoors. Some of the wildlife that have been viewed on the property includes white tail deer, black bear, turkeys, bobcats, fishers, chipmunks, raccoons, foxes, coyotes, cardinals, blue jays, eagles, black squirrels, and gray squirrels. And, if you are really lucky, you will see a moose! Moose are extremely rare but we did see one near Woodruff, about 20 miles away. Plenty of blankets, throws and pillows are available. \*for security reasons, there is a camera located outside facing the driveway. This camera is also used to verify occupancy and confirm number of people and pets. \*\*the cabin is on a one lane dead end dirt road, which is well maintained. The road leading to the cabin is on a hill, and the hill does get slippery in the winter. Please be sure you have good tires. Vehicles with all wheel drive or front wheel drive shouldn't have any issues. The property and description are on point. Since it was just my husband and I our two beagles, Chris lowered our rate for the dogs to stay. We totally appreciated the owners consideration. I am very particular about cleanliness and I was very happy with how clean everything was! My friend Geof and I spent a weekend at the Lyons Den as we wanted to go snowshoeing and hiking in the North Woods. The house was fantastic! It was cozy and clean and well decorated. Chris, the owner, was friendly and responsive to any questions I had. Geof and I both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and commented to one another that we could easily see bringing our respective wives up sometime to enjoy the home and the lovely area around it. ##### tom t. The cabin was wonderful - secluded and wooded lot, only 20 minutes away from Minoqua and Rhinelander. Several XC ski and snowshoe trails within a 15-20 minute drive. The interior was beautifully decorated and clean, had very comfortable furniture with a cozy but modern feel, and a kitchen that was stocked with everything you might need (from dishes to appliances to spices and coffee). The pictures online are very accurate, and the overall feel is even better! I'm always impressed when we stay at places where the owners have clearly taken the time to decorate, stock the kitchen and bathrooms, and think of all the little things that make a stay extra nice. Communication with the owners was great, from giving lots of recommendations before arriving to prompt and friendly texts while we were there. We would definitely recommend staying here in any season, and we plan to return. ##### Kathryn p. Lovely woodland location , very private and extremely cozy. A perfect fall getaway that feels like your own place in the woods… loved it!
