The apartment was in a great location which meant we didn’t have to rely on our cars and could walk everywhere. It was warm, comfortable and clean. The only things to watch for were the parking spot would be tight for a big car. Also we had travelled separately but my sister had to keep her car in a carpark about 5 mins walk away as the on street parking was time limited. And the beds were actually comfortable. No hotel or other holiday home can even compare. I would stay at any FinestRetreat property in a heartbeat! As Americans, the only thing we saw as an issue was the washer/dryer. Pure comfort after a busy day. We were travelling for work and loved the fact that we both had our own bathrooms. We honestly could not fault this flat as it had everything and more that we needed. The beds were really comfy, kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, including a nespresso machine. (guess what i got for christmas). We looked forward to getting back each night and relaxing in our own space. Nighttime was nice and quiet even though the windows are street facing. We would definitely book in again when next in York.
