Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a spacious open-plan ground floor, flooded with natural light and warmed by underfloor heating throughout. The cosy living area features a plush sofa, Smart TV, and a wood-burning stove, the perfect spot to unwind after a day’s exploring. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed for home-cooked meals, along with a dining table and chairs to gather around. Upstairs, two generously sized double bedrooms offer restful retreats with soft linens and calming décor. The family bathroom completes the first floor with a shower over bath, heated towel rail and the added luxury of underfloor heating.  
  
Beyond the comforts of The Smith, you will find yourself in one of North Yorkshire’s most picturesque settings, the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The charming village of Dacre Banks is set on the banks of the River Nidd, with a friendly local pub within walking distance of the cottage, perfect for a pint and a hearty meal after a day outdoors.  
  
A short drive brings you to the bustling market town of Pateley Bridge, home to independent shops, galleries, tea rooms and the famous oldest sweet shop in England. From here, you can access scenic walks such as the Nidderdale Way, a circular long-distance route that displays the best of the area’s rolling hills, river valleys, and heather moorlands.
