Bedrooms are comfortable and quiet, great for that afternoon nap. Neighborhood is quiet with little traffic. We were up in mid-November so there were not a lot of things to do, but I’ve been in Harrisville in the summer and it’s a nice place to go. The house is amazing. Lots of room and very clean with a lot of things you wouldn’t think to bring, like pots and pans, dishes, glassware, etc. And the yard! We had our three dogs with us and they would run themselves tired in the huge, fenced in yard. The neighborhood is very quiet, but again, it is the middle of November and the days are shorter. Even though we didn’t need a lot of assistance, David was a great host whenever I did need to communicate with him. We needed accommodations for our pups during the stay and wanted to assure a nice big fenced back yard for them and it was perfect. The house was very clean and accommodating. Make sure you bring your own coffee, there is a coffee maker (not a Kurig). There is a nice coffee shop in town (Alcona Coffee I think) that can grind a bag for you if you forget.
