Larry's Lodge is nestled in the heart of Massanutten Resort, at the top of the mountain. This 5-bedroom home provides all the modern amenities of a resort with the conveniences of home. Offering hardwood floors and cathedral ceilings featuring a gas fireplace, Larry's Lodge has plenty of space to spread out yet come together, in our upper level Great Room, lower level Rec Room, and spacious screen porch. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked to prepare meals, boasting anything a chef could need. Ample dishes and glasses, Keurig and drip coffee options, toaster oven, blender, crock pot, hand mixer, ice maker, microwave, and more! Hosting meals around our farmhouse dining table will make for joyous memories with family and friends! Our Martini Bar features glassware and accoutrements for the mixologist in your group! The house also has a laundry room with a large washer and dryer. Upstairs offers Master Bedroom, with King bed, walk-in closet, Roku TV and large bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs also has Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3, each with one Queen bed, Roku TV and a shared full bath with shower/tub. Downstairs has Bedroom 4 and Bedroom 5, each offering one full and one single bed, sleeping 6 total. Downstairs offers another full bathroom with shower/tub. COMMUNITY RULES This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat. NOISE • Quiet hours: 10 pm - 7 am. • Keep noise indoors during these hours. • No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. PARKING • Keep all tires off the road. • Don’t block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host. • Park only in designated areas or overflow lot (4003 Peak Dr., Massanutten, VA 22840). • No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Really nice spaces to gather together for a sibling reunion. There were 8 of us. Lots to do in and out of resort area. Pool was terrific. There was plenty of parking, but had to finesse driveway as on a hill. Loved the covered porch area, like being in a treehouse. Fridge needs some repair to door shelf and a slide to hold veggie bins properly. Oven seemed slow to heat up big casserole dishes. Game room looked great, but we didn’t end up using as we had too much fun talking, chatting and gathering in common areas with one another in living area and covered porch. I can’t say enough good things about this getaway. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. It’s a little hidden gem that we were so fortunate to find. The set up was great for two families. The game room occupied the kids and the adults enjoyed the peacefulness of watching deer in the woods from the screened in porch.
