The location is perfect. You can't get more centralized than the Gettysburg Hotel. Unloading and loading luggage is a bit of a hassle, but that's to be expected of any hotel in a downtown location.

There was nothing I did not like. It was an excellent property. I was there only one night and I had no food at the property except breakfast this morning and it was very good. I think it was fairly priced for what I received. I was fully satisfied.

I miss the pre-Covid days when you got full housekeeping every day, but I guess that's every hotel everywhere now. One day we had our beds made, but not the other 2. The property standards should at least be consistent. Everything else was superb, though!

Very clean and right in the middle of everything. There were great places to eat within walking distance. Parking was about $20 a day. Our only negative comment was that when we tried to call the front desk (about four different times @ 15 rings each time), no one ever answered. We left a call back number and no one ever called us back. That was a little frustrating. However…..we would definitely stay here again the next time we come back to Gettysburg!

The historic aspect of this place is interesting and the location can't be beat but I found the hotel lacking in amenities and our room just okay. The room had nice furniture which I liked, but the bathroom shower could have used a reno. The bathroom also wasn't as clean as expected with hair and gunk in the corners and water spots all over the sink counter. The hotel lobby and restaurant was nice but with no complimentary coffee I was disappointed. I thought that was standard. There also wasn't a water bottle filling station so we ended up having to buy $3 water bottles multiple times a day since the tap water was not tasty. Anyway, if you want to be downtown it's an okay stay, but if you don't mind I'm sure there are other places with better amenities for the price.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Our 5 year old daughter introduced herself and the front staff made her feel like the entire hotel was hers! The room was spacious and clean. Parking in the garage was easy and convenient. We had zero complaints.

We were very disappointed with the heat/AC temp control. The room was too hot all night long and we had trouble sleeping. Windows did not open. I found out on the last day from the main desk that the thermostats have motion control so if there is no movement, they don't work and go back to default,.....very inconvenient and bad for sleeping. They should let people know up front and have an override ability so responsible and eco minded people can be comfortable. Thanks

Nice hotel right in the middle of Gettysburg. Couldn't be in a better location. The only down side was the weird parking rules which have nothing to do with the hotel but the town has made the parking as complicated and punitive as possible. I'm overreacting a bit but for someone that travels for pleasure quite a bit it seems like they are dissuading visitors from coming to Gettysburg.

They said it was renovated last summer, and it showed. Very atmospheric, clean, and especially quiet. Good time of year to visit Gettysburg…no crowds!

Last time we were in Gettysburg Pa my wife wanted to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel, it couldn’t have been any better!! We absolutely love this Hotel and the convenience of the location
