Slightly disappointed as booked based on shuttle service. farther from airport than expected. Shuttle costs $10.00, I had expected regular shuttle service, but they only send one upon reuest. I took cab and it was over $40.
Hotel itself but next time I will check how far away the hotel truly is.
Right in Harrisburg, many local restaurants and stores, practically next to major highways. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff were, by the free coffee, fresh out of the oven free cookies at the counter. The hot breakfast was amazing. In addition to the normal complimentary fare like waffles, oatmeal, bagels and cereal, there was delicious sausage, mini egg wraps (just unwrap them if your kids want scrambled eggs) and potatoes. The coffee was great, and I don't usually say that about hotel coffee! I was actually sad that we had breakfast plans on our second day and missed the free breakfast. We had a suite to fit our family of 6, the couch bed was comfortable for the kids who had that, and the room is well-laid out so everyone can move around comfortably. We were greeted by very pleasant people every time we came in and wished well every time we walked out.
I went to Hershey, PA this weekend and have been checking out hotels for about a month.
The service and the cleanliness at this hotel were top notch. No complaints, two minor gripes:
the shower pressure wasn't great (not terrible though) and the guide button didn't work on the TV.
Other than that, I would DEFINITELY stay here again! Internet was great and the coffee in the Lobby was good!
Quick & Courteous check-in & check-out, Good Parking. Room and facility could use some updating, carpets could use a good vacuuming. There was an flat screen HD television, free WiFi and a clean working fridge. Breakfast included, coffee, orange & apple juice, 3 types of cereals, cream-cheese, jams & jelly, bagels, a large variety of donuts, bananas and a make-your-own waffles station with syrup - nicely done.
The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean, however the top blanket had stains. Regarding the bathroom, overall it was clean however there was no paper-band around the commode seat indicating it had been disinfected.
My recommendations, bring a disinfectant spray, fabreze to de-stankify that "motel room aroma" and slippers.
In summary it was inexpensive, conveniently located, and adequate for a 1 night stay.
The hotel is situated at an intersection and with the traffic light, easy access in and out on to the highway. Staff greeted me and check-in was easy. I would recommend the accommodations to others and would stay here again when in the area.
