« We were welcomed at the door and shown to our well-appointed apartment. Spectacular views from the Castle across Stornoway harbour, and a very comfortable stay. Management are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Recommend the Castle cafe downstairs for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. »

« This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious. »

« We spent a wonderful week in an apartment in Lews Castle Stornoway. The apartment was very spacious, light and with high ceilings as befits a castle. Its location was excellent, in extensive grounds and in walking distance of Stornoway. It also had views of the harbour. We could watch ferries and cruise ships come in and out. »

"Lovely time in this sweet little house. Extremely clean and cosy with a nice burner. the garden was a little smaller than we had imagined but absolutely fine to sit around and admire the beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. We met the local shepherd and had lovely walks around. It was really a fantastic place to stay on the island away from the crowds."
