Room was clean but in rough shape, carpet was matted and deformed. Staff was excellent and the helpful with arranging shuttle.

My overall experience was very positive. I would definitely stay there again. I wish that the Hotel staff had explained to me that the hotel was connected to our major indoor shopping area, which I only discovered on my last day there, but would have made my stay more pleasant to know from the beginning. This is actually a major attraction of the hotel and they are underselling the Hotel by not telling guests about it.

This hotel is an exceptional experience with its wonderfully preserved architecture and modern conveniences to its stained glass windows and clever, but tasteful, reminder of its former life as a convent. Tasty breakfast is served in the chapel dining room. Great location in the heart of St. Paul.

Room was clean and when we needed more towels or toilet paper, housekeeping staff was great. Breakfast was simple but on time and refilled often. Daytime front desk staff was very short with me and not willing to make any changes whenever I made a request. I booked a room that should have slept 4, but it clearly only slept 3. The fold out couch is tiny - was offered a roll away at an additional fee, even though the room was listed by the fire marshall as a an occupancy of 3 but it was sold as a room for 4. Staff complained that they were overbooked and could not do anything for anyone about anything. I understand that sometimes you can't make accommodations but being nice even when saying "no" goes a long way.
