The hotel was fine except for the fact that they couldn’t accommodate us till after 7pm!!! We first arrived at 4:30pm. We were told to keep coming back every half hour. They informed us the first time we returned that if we wanted to pay extra to upgrade our room they would accommodate us sooner or else it would be another 30 minutes. We continued to wait and were eventually accommodated. We would have contacted hotels.com for help but we were out of the country and had no access to phone signal and the hotel wouldn’t give us the WiFi code until we were checked in. Hides amongst the hustle and bustle of Hanoi it was a very friendly and calming escape. It was walking distance to everything and the staff were extremely helpful.
