Beautiful new hotel. Very clean, comfortable beds and an amazing breakfast is served. The indoor pool was heated and zen like. The spa massage experience was excellent. The staff all appear to be highly trained and have perfected service to their customers making everyone feel like a celebrity. Location is great and a two minute walk to train Street as well as other attractions. Yet once inside, the hotel feels like a peaceful sanctuary, with absolute quiet and a sense of refined luxury. The hotel is brand new, and it shows. From the elegant lobby with its inviting fragrance to the spotless hallways and rooms, every detail feels fresh and pristine. My room was spacious with French Balcony, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The facilities covered everything a traveler could need, from excellent breakfast service to attentive concierge support. What truly sets this property apart is the service. The staff here are remarkable—polite, professional, and sincerely warm. Every time I entered or left the hotel, they remember my name & I was greeted with a bow and a smile, small gestures that made a big difference. We asked about airport transfers and traffic conditions, and they arranged everything seamlessly. They even sent us thoughtful recommendations for how to make our anniversary trip extra special. During our stay, we booked a Ha Long Bay tour through the hotel, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire journey. The arrangements were smooth, professional, and stress-free, allowing us to simply enjoy the experience. Every meal at the hotel was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and full of flavor—truly making us feel pampered at every moment. The level of service far surpassed what we expected from a 5-star property. From the communication before arrival, to the welcome drinks and personally escorting us to our room, it was a different level of service. The room itself was spacious, immaculate with high-quality towels, robes, toiletries, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Breakfast each morning was wonderful, offering a wide variety of dishes that changed daily, along with a delicious à la carte menu. The warm, relaxing swimming pool was another highlight of our stay. We met the manager, Thomas, on our first morning, and were amazed that he already knew our names. He greeted us warmly every time we saw him and frequently checked in to ensure everything was perfect. One moment that truly stood out was when we asked to lower the music volume at the pool—Thomas arrived immediately to adjust it himself. On our final day, knowing we always had breakfast at 6:30 a.m., Thomas came specifically to say goodbye and thank us. He offered to personally drive us to the airport since he was heading home at the same time. His dedication explains why Hotel du Lac Signature Hanoi runs so seamlessly and maintains such an exceptional standard. Staff were there to meet you at the car, and did everything they could to ensure that you were looked after. The view from the rooftop bar was fantastic and a great way to watch the sunset with a nice drink. The reception team were always ready to help, giving us great recommendations as to best local places to eat and things to do, they even helped us plan our onward travel while not staying in the hotel. The room was spotless, with a very comfy bed and everything you might need to hand. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Hanoi.
