Chris was very communicative for our check in and gave us a lot of the history of the house as well as tips for the area. That was particularly helpful as we'd never been to Hannibal. The house was very clean, the semi private bathroom was in great condition, the bed was so comfy and we were even given bathrobes! We had breakfast 2 days and Chris is a wonderful cook. We hardly used the car as most of downtown Hannibal is just a few blocks away. They are very up front that the house is home to a couple cats, one of which was our little shadow for the weekend. They are very sweet and caused us no issues, but it's something to be aware of. We really enjoyed the host making our “check in” truly unique by sharing a lot of the history and character of your landmark home. We decided to skip the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast and enjoyed breakfast with “the locals” at “the Diner” recommended by our host. We really appreciated our host’s recommendations for a variety of quality “local” amenities.
