Man mærker ikke, at der ligger en millionby ca. 5 km derfra. Fantastisk beliggenhed omgivet af skov, bakker og teplantager. Mange vandre ruter i området. Te museet som nabo og tæt på Lingyin Templet, samt nemt at komme til West Lake i den "gode" ende, hvor der ikke er overflyldt med kinesiske turister. Hotellet er stilfuldt indrettet og personalet venligt og behjælpsom. Dog tager de sig godt betalt for diverse extra services. Bed om værelse, der vender til samme side som hoved indgangen, da "bagsiden" af hotellet ligger ved en bakke, så der ikke er udsigt. Restauranten er god (i den dyrere ende) og morgenmads buffeen rigtig god med continental breakfast, frisk presset juice mv.
