Loved the city and the Impression West Lake Show. A must visiting Hangzhou! Lovely hotel and staff. The lavish breakfast buffet convinced us to stay an extra night. The staff's limited knowledge of English was compensated by a charming approach. Perfect location next to the water for a hike around the lake and just a 10 minutes walk to the closest tube station. A big bonus was the fast WIFI connection. The hotel was nice with a special Chinese look and feel which we were looking for. The lobby lounge is more of a tea place. They do have limited beer and wine and you have to ask for the beer to be cold otherwise you will get it warm. The A/C in our room didn't work but we didn't ask them to fix it or move us since we were only there 2 nights and the first night was chilly out so it didn't bother us.
