Single-level newly renovated home - with beautiful private fenced in yard, lawn games, picnic table & gas grill, off-street parking for 4 cars, sun-filled front porch with swing seat, fully stocked kitchen, central AC & heat via mini-split system & 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people.

✫ A $100 fee per pet applies and will be charged through our software after the booking is confirmed.  
  
Cleaning - Our cleaners are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations (doorknobs, surfaces, light switches, remote controls, tables, fan and lamp chains, thermostats etc).  
  
Important: No smoking, vaping or drugs allowed. No events, parties or large gatherings. Must be at least 25 years old to book. We have a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior of our property facing the outside of our entrance. This is not monitored but does record. We also have a Minut noise monitor system located inside the property in the kitchen/living room. This is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property, it does not record sound, but allows us to respond to noise nuisances in a timely manner to ensure all neighbors are being respected. Minute is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. These are to keep all guests safe and to keep the property secure. Thanks for understanding!

Hampton Beach is a premier resort town in New Hampshire boasting a wide variety of activities for all ages (nightly concerts, arcades, restaurants, mini-golf, water activities, fireworks and more) and is rated among the top 3 cleanest beaches in the U.S. This home is minutes from The Hampton Casino venue, Playland Arcade, and the boardwalk. It's a short car ride to Newburyport, MA and Portsmouth, NH and outlet shopping in beautiful Kittery, ME. Hampton is perfectly located for a day trip to Boston, Portland, ME and the White Mountains  
  
Getting Around:  
A car is needed to get to the property as there is no public transport.

Location, location, location! This little gem of a property has a direct walking path through town to the sandy beach! Great for leased dog walks! It is very clean, comfy and well-stocked with things you may need, including laundry facilities, and parking on-site in the driveway. During our stay a 'Nor Easter rainstorm hit, but we were tight and cozy inside the Salty Dog property. A fun, little place to stay to enjoy Hampton Beach and its coastal amenities!

The beach was only a 5 minute walk away. The inside of the house was very clean. The front gate had a broken hinge on it, which made it annoying to use.

Yes, the backyard was redone to make completely enclosed while we were there for space/play time with your pet. Cottage was clean with unclutterly spaces and room for 5\. Kitchen was adequate with addl things such as combined cofee maker, blender, micowave, toaster , dishwasher and combined washer/dryer and eating space for 4\. Sunroom in front with cozy hanging chair. The one complaint was the traffic noise especially on weekend, although some may get used to it. Walkable to Hampton beach and some of the eating places/restaurants. Bathroom is small and no outlets to plug in waterpik. There is a parking area for events right next door like the half marathon so cars were parked right next to the front yard. This would be rare. With no fault of host, but boatdwalk is mostly closed this late in season, but dogs allowed on beach adter October 1st. I would come back if in the area and can see all the improvements being made.

#### Weekend Getaway 

Perfect place at Hampton Beach for our 4th of July getaway. Walking distance to beach but far enough away from strip so it was quiet to sleep. Would recommend this place especially if you have kids. Sean was very responsive and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

This cute cozy little home is the best. My family and I were looking for something simple for a few days and it did not disappoint.The walk to the beach only a few minutes up the road. I will definitely stay here again. Bonus the yard for my dog! Thank you for your perfect little property.

#### Hampton beach getway

We enjoyed this property and the proximity to everything Hampton has to offer. We brought along our two small dogs and the accommodations were perfect for our needs.I enjoyed running in the nearby neighborhoods; local coffee spots; and my husband and I ventured out to some fun bars along the strip. Overall a great spot with lots to do within walking distance.

It was a good stay overall and very convenient to the beach. I would say parking for 4 is not accurate at all we had to unload the mini van at the end of driveway so we could exit the vehicle. Only tiny cars would be easy to unload. Maybe two normal sized Vehicles at max. The bathroom was set up strange. The toilet is up against the wall so you have to sit sideways and the shower is 30x30 at max.i would not feel comfortable using the stove top, it is right under wood cabinets with no vent. Somewhat disappointed with the place.r Toilet right up

Cute house perfect for myself, husband ,and our dog. Pefect fenced in for the dog. Road can get quite noisy as its main road to go home. During the week wasnt as bad so it was nice. Location and walking distance the beach the the beach

#### Comfortable memorial visit

This stay was a memorial trip for my son who was killed earlier this year. The property was in a great location, allowed us to bring our family dogs and we could visit the spots we needed to as well. The property had a nice yard and privacy though we were close to others. We would definitely rent this property again.

This property was just as good or better than we expected! Walking distance to the Boardwalk was 👍 Very clean and oh so cute! Had everything we needed, including comfortable bedding! Having our 2 dogs with us was great as they are part of our family! The fenced in yard was perfect for them! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

#### Loving the Off Season

I found this cottage and it proves the pictures are exactly accurate. The cottage is named Salty Dog and its It’s so funny I found out an alcoholic drink is named Salty Dog. This one you can’t drink!😃 My husband & I and my poodle & westie spent 3 days in this cute little cottage. It is exactly accurate in the description of this cottage on line thru Vrbo. Excellent site to find vacation rentals and rates as well as dates that are available. Rates for this cottage were much better than we expected especially off season. Inside is so cute with the open concept that makes it spacious. The dinning table is near the refrigerator. The only complaint is the fridge door opens to the right. Anyone sitting at the table next to fridge has to keep getting up when you open the fridge door. My suggestion to owners switch the fridge door to open to the left to alleviate this minor problem. All the appliances are in excellent condition and brand new cute little gas stove. The counter tops are granite and gorgeous. The bedrooms are as expected and the master bedroom bed is comfortable. Don’t like the fact you or your partner has to climb into the side of the bed against the wall. By husbanded need the side of the bed. I’m disabled so I couldn’t climb into bed. Due to space it’s understandable. We used the washer and dryer. It washes and dries really well. The bathroom is small and cute. Everything is up to date. The shower stall bit small works well. The best room in the cottage the porch. The standing wicker oval swing is so comfortable you can nap on it. The cottage is all fenced in front and back. The backyard isn’t large but big enough for my poodle & westie to run and play. The grill which is fairly new works very well. Only suggestion to clean the grease pan washed after each use. The grease was so caked on we couldn’t clean it. With just minor issues it recommend this cottage. It’s worth it and the location is .1 miles from the beach. Oh for the cleaning people please turn the heat on for the cool days when before customers arrive. It took quite a long while for the cottage to warm up. Finally I would definitely rent this cottage off season again. Thank you Vrbo! KenLou
