This was my third stay because I liked it. So I recommend all visitors and guests to book it once and try it. This time the room I stayed in was not very clean. Especially the toilet was not clean. I recommend to keep a toilet brush in the toilet.

Dirty and disgusting hotel. Corridor carpets were filthy, was hoping the room would be better, it wasn't. Carpet was covered in stains and looked like it hadn't even been hoovered. Blood stains on sheets and mattress. Pull out bed had a stained a mattress protector and looked very uncomfortable. Holes in bathroom door. Mould around the shower, dust and hairs in the bathroom, ominous stains on the bathroom door. Expected basic but not this level of uncleanliness. Staff were friendly.

I had booked to have a double room and I was give me an accessible room with two tiny single beds that I had to move together! Also the toilet had been used and not flushed when I arrived! There was what appeared to be a tiny snail stuck on the all. Overall for the price and location it was not bad, it’s a shame the cleanliness let them down.

Great value for money, it was a chilly night and late evening when we arrived the room was cold which in the current climate is understandable but once we mastered the heater all was well. Will use again without hestation.

Room comfortable and clean. Room amenities were basic but completely satisfactory for an overnight stay. Mark, on the front desk, was friendly and helpful. He gave us two extra pillows when requested. Definitely stay at this Days Inn again if I wanted an overnight stay on a journey home to the West Country from London

Not great for a 3 star hotel chain!
Really run down hotel building. Dirty smelly rooms & bathroom with dirty towels, handwash was empty. Uncomfortable beds. However the staff was friendly and helpful.

Fine for a quick rest very basic
Perfect for what we needed a place to rest on our way from a to b Rooms size fine family room pull out beds fine for long teenagers. The carpet was stained and looks like the hoover needs an upgrade. Behind the loo was disgusting duvet a bit light for me so I was cold sheets lovely and everyone got some rest can't expect much more for the price. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

I booked the wrong night. My fault entirely. The unsupportive tone adopted when I was stressed on arrival was not appreciated. I was also accused of not having paid for the night that I did book, when I had paid Expedia through paypal. The receptionist refused to let me book another night (even though 4 were available) and made me to it online. Just not a nice tone when you are worried and in need of a bed for the night.

Ordinarily guests stay for only one night. So the policy of cleaning a room once the guest checks out works well, normally. But if a guest stays for eight nights, no room cleaning occurs in that time. Bins aren’t emptied. Towels aren’t changed. Bed sheets aren’t changed. Toilet isn’t cleaned, and no brush provided for guest to clean it themselves. An unhelpful notice above the bath states “leave your towel on the floor to let us know you want it changed”. That only means when you get back from your day excursion the damp towel is even more disgusting after lying on the dirty floor all day. Room key needs to be reprogrammed every 12 hours. No WiFi in the bedroom and is very weak at reception. I have nothing good to say about this dump. It doesn’t deserve one star. Based on our experience here, we will avoid the entire chain of Days Inn in future.
