It is an experience in and of itself to enjoy the countryside and farm animals present. The house is cleaner than any we’ve rented and is impeccably decorated as well. The hosts kindly left so much for us in the way of breakfast and comfort items. We made easy day trips to Waitomo, Hobbiton, and Rotorua from this spot (but once we settled in we hardly wanted to leave). We could relax and easily prepare our own meals in the well appointed kitchen. The beds were immensely comfortable. Air conditioning was a huge plus on the warm days we were there. Cannot recommend enough! FYI- made me nervous that hosts prefer to send property info the day of reservation but in the end we got it in time. Awesome having a laundry too. What was extra special was the lovely plants , fresh roses on the table and some Christmas decorations. The pantry had some lovely treats to enjoy and nothing was spared on the thoughtfulness of toiletries including sunblock, toothbrushes, deodorant.
