I stayed for 4 nights in this efficient, basic hotel which has 6 more or less identical floors, rooms are small, spartan, and soulless but clean. Think 70s, not modern budget designed - wood chip walls, tired, thin carpet, hard bed, no USB chargers.
Only issue is that Hotels.com states rooms have blackout blinds, as you can see from the photo this was not the case. I contacted Hotels.com but all they did was pass it to the hotel who showed me other rooms which were all the same. This is false advertising on Hotels.com's site.
Housekeeping came every day and changed towels, they were good and polite.
The area is not the best, ok the transport is great but being bang next to the train station generally isn’t the best part of any city. So there is some noise of sirens, people randomly yelling etc. But the double glazed windows can be fully closed (as well as opened)
It’s OK if all you want to do is sleep there but if you like to spend time in the room and look at nice surroundings and enjoy hotel facilities this isn’t really the place. The exterior of the hotel is as shown in my photo, the floodlit image in the advertising is barely recognisable.
