Nice hotel with perfect transport location. Good breakfast A bit noisy because of the location near the central train station, but it didn’t reflect my positive impression too much

Great Sleep and Breakfast
Comfortable bed and great breakfast. Interesting side of the tracks. Lots of places to get cheap sim cards for your phones. This area had a lot of night time petty crimes, drug deals, and windows smashed on cars, but we felt safe in the day time hours. Really close to the train station.

More like a hostel
The room I stayed in is in desperate need of renovation, the beds are used to the level that fabric is peeling off, and ventilation was bad - it smelled weird every time I came back to it. The neighborhood was not the nicest (saw a guy pee 3m from me and my colleagues, police were often there, and did not feel safe in the evening there.

Good value for your money. Close to the main train stations and city center. The area can be a little rough, but a few blocks away and you’re good.

Good location
The location worked out great for getting to and from the train station. There were plenty of good restaurants in the area too. The room was ver small and did not have a shelf or anything to put toiletries in the bathroom.

The breakfast was awesome. The staff was very friendly. The room was good. The carpet was a little old and stained, but no big deal for me (bigger deal for my wife). It was warm in Hamburg during our stay and the rooms do not have AC, so it was kind of "stuffy" at times.

Book else where
2 steps to get to the lobby. 2 elevators with one at lobby level for one building and need to climb a flight of steps to get to the other elevator in the other building. 2 people with luggage will fit any elevator. Block and a haft from the train station. Breakfast not bad No AC in our building

It is not a bad place. The rooms are small. The beds are tiny. The cover sheets and blanket barely cover one half of the body. The breakfast variety is a bit limited

Excellent stay and nice and very pleasant staff (with one exception though, a lady that probably was tired and lectured us when we did not have the card one evening when asking for our keys). Breakfast was exactly what is needed! Thank you, we will repeat whenever we return to Germany

A very nice hotel asked for extra pillows twice and got them so they did honour that also heating did not work in my room had to complain a few times for this to get sorted but they changed my room so everything ok in the end all in all a good hotel and convenient for central train station and bars and clubs shops would recommend.

would recommend staying there...
I have stayed as a guest at this hotel on many occasions. I am still very impressed with the service that I have received. The staff are friendly, polite and courteous. And the the hotel is in close proximity to the Main Station/Hauptbahnhof.

Basic and functional, OK for what it is
I stayed for 4 nights in this efficient, basic hotel which has 6 more or less identical floors, rooms are small, spartan, and soulless but clean. Think 70s, not modern budget designed - wood chip walls, tired, thin carpet, hard bed, no USB chargers. Only issue is that Hotels.com states rooms have blackout blinds, as you can see from the photo this was not the case. I contacted Hotels.com but all they did was pass it to the hotel who showed me other rooms which were all the same. This is false advertising on Hotels.com's site. Housekeeping came every day and changed towels, they were good and polite. The area is not the best, ok the transport is great but being bang next to the train station generally isn’t the best part of any city. So there is some noise of sirens, people randomly yelling etc. But the double glazed windows can be fully closed (as well as opened) It’s OK if all you want to do is sleep there but if you like to spend time in the room and look at nice surroundings and enjoy hotel facilities this isn’t really the place. The exterior of the hotel is as shown in my photo, the floodlit image in the advertising is barely recognisable.
Blackout blinds were specified in hotel description but not fitted

A nice stay near to train station
Nice breakfast . Nice place. Just check in took a little longer but overall stay was good. Room is simple and good too 2min walk to train station and get food anywhere easily

Très bienery good
Welcoming staff. Very clean room. Good and copious breakfast. The hotel is very close to the station and the city centre, perfect for discovering Hamburg. We will be back.
