It is very well isolated from outside noise, but some guests were shockingly loud in the morning hours before checkout (8 to 9 am, while checkout is at 11 am). Check-In and the evening at the accomodation were simple and pleasant (even if we were met with a surprise 'culture tax' of 4€). The gentleman at the reception was very kind despite us looking a little funny wearing costumes after a convention. He gave us our room card, and all was well. After our rest, which went largely undisturbed until after 8 am, as mentioned above. For a little bit, we had no water in the bathroom sink. Not sure why that was. It worked again after about 30 minutes, so I hadn't contacted anyone about it. Since we were about to check-out, we also hadn't gotten to let them know about the little bugs on the walls that we hadn't noticed the night prior. I would've liked to let someone know. But upon returning to the information, trying to check-out, we found no one at the reception. So we waited. And another pair came down shortly after. Waited with us. 5 minutes. Then they left their card, and told us they had to catch their train. We waited some more. Two more pairs joined us, in those 15 minutes, the phone rang twice, still no person returning to the desk. No little bell either. We added our card to the previous pair's, and left. Most of the problems were related to the hotel staff. We couldn't find anybody at the reception desk during our stay. During check-in, we waited for an hour at the reception for the receptionist to arrive. I didn't see the traditional hotel welcome and check-in procedure at this hotel. They only gave us the room card and that was it. The room was very uncomfortable. The bed was not suitable for couples; it was a double bed, but we didn't feel comfortable on it. In the room, we couldn't find a kettle, tea set, phone to contact reception, or slippers, which are usually available in most hotels. Another thing I didn't like about this hotel was the room temperature. Even though the electricity was working and the weather was standard spring weather, the room was very cold and didn't warm up. The only thing I can mention about cleanliness is the floor, which wasn't as clean as in other hotels we have stayed in. Although the hotel is located in the heart of Reeperbahn, the room wasn't too noisy because of the windows. However, every single movement from the corridor felt like it was happening in the room. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but during check-out, you can have coffee at the reception. However, I don't recommend it because it was the worst-tasting coffee I have ever had. Personnel is not really friendly and not demonstrates smile & joy to see new guests, though. Starting with its terrible location in the scariest part of Hamburg, and the curtains stained with what appeared to be blood—it was a nightmare. There was no elevator, and no one offered to help with our luggage. We deeply regret staying at this hotel and are shocked by the number of positive reviews. Frokost er det ikke mulig å få på hotellet, men man kan avtale og betale for frokost på Hotel Cult overfor, eller som vi gå til bakeren ca 100 meter derfra, der er det veldig god frokost. Det er mye folk rundt hotellet spesielt etter kl 22 om kvelden, men er man der for å ha det gøy er man plassert midt på «syndens mil» med mye puber og diverse mer suspekte etablisementer. Dieses Hotel ist geeignet für Nachtschwärmer die ab 7 Uhr schlafen wollen. Om morgen var der i ca 10 min ikke vand på værelset og vandtrykket i brusen fra meget lavt. Det lignede at der var svamp i loftet på badeværelset. Der sad tydelig skidt på væggen bag døren på værelset og føntørren på badeværelset var heller ikke ren. Las fotos son de habitación single, te dicen que es compartido entre 10 camas pero la realidad es que son 24, el servicio es tan malo que da risa y no se puede dormir en la noche de tanto ruido y tantas personas entrando y saliendo.
