Immerse yourself in the city's energy by day, then return to your peaceful haven where the gentle sounds of nearby waterfalls create a serene ambiance. With its prime location, you'll have effortless access to everything Halifax has to offer, making it the perfect base for exploring and creating lasting family memories. Bedroom 1, the most spacious room in the house, boasts a luxurious four-poster king bed and a private bathroom equipped with a separate shower and toilet. Bedroom 2 is situated in the passageway between Bedroom 1 and the common area, featuring private doors to ensure privacy for both bedrooms. Bedroom 3 features a queen-sized dedicated to the iconic Marilyn Monroe. Bedroom 4, a private room once used as a formal dining room, is situated adjacent to the kitchen. The room’s closed doors, covered with solid drapes, offer privacy from the living room. A delightful electric fireplace adds warmth and ambiance to this space. Spacious full bath featuring a relaxing bathtub. Fully equipped kitchen and well stocked with utensils, cooking supplies, spices, coffee, pots and pans . All set for your home away from home. Big living room area with a fireplace and a pullout couch. Lot of seating for everyone. Coin laundry on site in the basement. Walk to the grocery store or Halifax Shopping Center where there are many shops, and an amazing food court in the lower level. Costco, movie theaters, box stores and many restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. A 5 minute drive to the heart of downtown Halifax. Many fun things to see and do in our city. Fantastic boardwalk all along the Halifax waterfront with many restaurants, bars, pubs, sailing adventures, jet ski rentals, whale watching tours, fishing tours, shops. We have an amazing public gardens in central downtown area, where there are many restaurants and shops to enjoy. In the winter we have the Halifax Oval where you can rent skates morning, noon and night. Our valley is famous for the many vineyards, fresh farm markets, fantastic pubs and restaurants only a 30 - 40 minute drive away. Another must see is our South shore. Hubbards, Peggys Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg which are all along the waters edge. These are all within an 1 hour drive away. Fabulous area for walking along the waters edge. 5 minute walk to Chocolate lake and the beach.
