Great place to stay. It sucks that you have to pay for parking but the prices is conducive to the extra cost and pedways get you there without having to go outside.

We stayed here because it was lower priced than other hotels in the area for a second time now. Rooms are clean but a little outdated. Parking is nearby but should be noted that it’s a bit of a walk if you have mobility issues. Easy enough to use the 15 minute check-in zone right out front to unload before parking a vehicle.

Excellent location, room and building could use a little work. The gym is very small and hot but does the trick for a quick workout while travelling. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. Would certainly stay here again.

There is no parking on site, which was vary inconvenient for me as I have an infant and was also traveling with my partially dissabled mother. Lost of noisy people up and down the halls at all hours of the night and partying. The restaurant doesnt open until 8am on the weekends and they dont serve continental breakfast which was inconvenient for us travelling early in the morning. The outside of the building by the lobby door had many cigarette butts littering the side walk and also found some empty and partially full alcohol cans laying around. It was not a good experience for us.

The room was very large, two double beds, it was clean. The ventilation was on 'hot' and was not adjustable, so the room was uncomfortably warm. The parking situation is not ideal, as you have to park off-site in a parkade that's a good 10 minute walk. The staff was friendly.

We stayed 1 night because we had no alternative, but there was black mold in the bathroom in 4 locations and the chair in the room was completely falling apart. The carpet stunk, we were given 2 x small double beds instead of the requested 2 x queens (we were 4 in the room), and the bathroom caulking was completely black. We had stayed here in another part of the hotel previously without issue, so were surprised.

Property is incredibly out-dated, beige striped walls in the rooms with a nasty green carpet.. With both decor and technology. No way to stream and services to the room TV, only cable avail. We asked for extra blankets and were given 2 sheets. Breakfast options at the hotel start later in the morning than other hotels normally would, opening at 8am. Could hear toilets flushing from the room next door, constant ringing of church bells outside the window, hourly. (At least until 12am, after that i finally fell asleep). Staff is okay, not very welcoming or friendly, dont really seem all that happy to be there. Overall, i would recommend putting your dollars elsewhere, you can get MUCH nicer accommodations for the same price point.

Great location at a good price relative to other downtown hotels. The furniture in the room was very old but the room was spotless, bed was very comfortable, bathroom was renovated and our night was very quiet. I would stay there again.

The staff were excellent! I stayed in the executive business rooms. They could use a makeover. Mattress was lumpy. Decor was shabby. Pillows were terrible!! In room coffee service was subpar. Adding real glasses , mugs and some bottled water would be a nice. It great to have a coffee shop in the lobby but when I’m travelling for work I’m not likely to go there until after I’ve dressed for the day and so being able to have a coffee in my room while I get ready is nice. And since you don’t offer room service , upgrading this in room service would take you to the next level.

Fantastic staff. We had our Bullmastiff dog there with us and the staff were great. Only downside to this hotel is location with no green space at all for our dog.

The property did no mention they only have parking a few blocks away which is difficult for a person with mobility issues. No water, glasses etc in the rooms.

The parking was the only issue, but that can not be changed. The mouse issue although a problem in all of down town needs more attention. Over all enjoyed our stay room was more than fine (no mice in room), staff were great. Would return upon our next visit to Halifax.
