Nice and enjoyable
Nice. Room service was prompt. Nice breakfast and dinner. Good shuttle service to maal road. Small children play area. Pool could have been opened for longer than 10 pm.

The Shervani Hilltop Resort was one of our favorite hotels in India -- charming, comfortable, and clean! Our only complaint: the dining room linens need to be either replenished or cleaned better.

Earlier we were allotted room with heater which was not comfortable. After persistent request, central heating room was provided, which was good. They should have visualized it in advance.

It was an awesome stay at shervani hotel in cottage based resort . With an good ambience and greenery in the surrounding make it a perfect family destination . Except for the lunch the breakfast and dinner were nice .

Excellent place to stay in Nainital !
I was bit apprehensive during the approach to the hotel.It was steep and narrow. However when inside the premises, I was overwhelmed by the courtesy,comfort and scenic beauty the place had to offer. It was simply superb ! A must stay for whomsoever visiting Nainital and wants to cherish the memories for years to come.

good experience, shervani is a nice hotel to relax in, you can enjoy in the hotel without having to go out to vivist new places every day. Far from the crowd but not far from the city, can easily visit all sightseeing spots.

A great out of season get away!
After visiting Delhi for a wedding from Australia, we decided to visit Nainital for a quiet break and to view the Himalayas. The Shervani Hilltop provided the perfect place to relax and take in the sights of Nainital. All the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The food was excellent! The chef was more than happy to accommodate our requests. The hotel staff provided us great recommendations for things to do and see. We were also provided a letter of introduction that allowed us to enjoy the facilities of the boat club. The rooms were clean and spacious. I would certainly recommend a visit to the Shervani Hilltop, especially during the quiet season, when you can enjoy the views without the crowds!

Excellent service,good food,our suite in new block was great(although we were alotted suite in old block,which we did not find suitable,our request to change the room was met).their jeep transfers to mall was comfortable,activity room kept our daughter engaged,so if u r travelling to nainital ,ur stay has to be in Sherwani.

The hotel was good offering basic services with courteous staff & spacious & well appointed rooms(garden facing only). The staff though could stand to be a little more innovative in their approach when faced with slightly out of the ordinary situations!

Shervani Hill Top Best In Nanital
This review was way overdue I had stayed with my family from 30th April 2013 to 3rd May 2013. I had booked Deluxe room through Expedia as we got good deal from them. When we checked -in the receptionist was very friendly. When we went to our room we were shocked to see that room was quite small to accommodate family of four. So I requested the receptionist to upgrade the room to higher category. At the reception the manager was very friendly and he upgraded the room within no time. The premiere room was spacious for family of four. The overall stay was superb. If it is Nanital then one should definitely consider Shervani Hill Top for staying purpose. The Shervani hill top can truly be called as a family resort. The staffs are very courteous. Their pick nd drop service is prompt. Food is great. They bring variety to their buffets .The entire property is well maintained including the sports room. The Food Quality is awesome. Desserts were Mouth-watering . The Food quality here is much better than the hotels in Metropolitan Cities. It is indeed the best hotel in Nanital really enjoyed talking to them it was a memorable experience with such a lovely, courteous and caring staff servicing you with best of their abilities. Shervani Hilltop is not only one the best hotel in Nanital.

Tiny rooms and felt it over priced...
We went there as a family trip with a 20 month old kid. We had booked a deluxe room and after having paid the amount i paid for a room, my expectations were extremely different from what i got when i arrived at the hotel. The room was TINY! I had thought rooms in new york used to be small, but this was like no walking room at all. My kid could easily walk between the bed and TV, but i had to kind of twist a bit to move without toching the TV or bed. We checked with the reception to confirm that we have got the right room and unfortunately it was correct. There was no views from the room. Only thing you could see out of the window was some stairs. In a hill station you would expect to have some great views for the price you are paying. Overall, the hotel is good if you are not fussed about the small rooms or views from room. Breakfast and dinner is very good. The staff is very helpful and courteous. They dont wait on you for tips. Their free transport to the market is very helpful. We also needed to see a doctor and they were kind enough to arrange a car for us at no charge to go to the doctor. I guess the only downside is that similar size rooms or even bigger ware available in plenty near the lake and with great views. However, the service and the evening activities here make this different. Still feel its very over priced.

It was extremely enjoyable. The room was clean, service prompt and friendly. The children park and the bar with a new activity everyday were the highlights. The live performance of Vijender Singh in the bar was memorable.

Fabulous hotel with very nice people managing it. The staff was extremely polite, nice and helpful and always had a smile.Loved the place with its ambiance, peace and quite. Delightful gardens and they even arranged a Rajasthani Sarangi Player. I stayed there for two nights with my family and enjoyed every moment. Must put in a word about the food they served - Top quality and fresh. Stayed in a Presedential suite - however must comment that it is expensive.

Shervani hilltop - wonderful
The hotel has a lovely setting, it is admittedly a little challenging to get to but it's worth it. It is set 2km out of nainital, on a hillside, set in gardens and seating areas and under the foothills of the Himalayas. We were treated courteously, professionally and kindly by every single member of staff. Food was good - we enjoyed breakfast particularly. We had a stay that was perfect in every way and hope to go back again (from the UK).

The hotel room was clean at first sight , however since its located up in the woods and surrounding forests and mts, you will hear monkeys on top of roof, spiders in your room and dont forget to bring deodorizer for the room . stuffy since humidity is everywhere, but it smells different then normal wood cabins. Staff does not undersatdn enlgish, they speak it but downt understand conversational english except teh gerneral manager and he deals with everyone's crap. Excellent manager, accomodating, pleasent and polite. Very patient and considerate. He made my trip enjoyable....just amazing person! As far as hotel its the best hotel in Nainital, yes i would reccommend this place to people 100%!
