We had a clean and pretty spacious room with a private hot spring bath good for one person. The room did smell a little bit of smoke however. Very modern bathroom in the room.
Both the private and public baths were excellent. The public baths also have an outdoor area with a view of the sky.
Breakfast and dinner were traditional Japanese style and very delicious.
Staff speak limited English, but they were super attentive and friendly. They offered holding our luggage when we arrived early and took it to our room for us. Shuttle service available to the station on check-out (maybe check-in as well).
It was a lovely stay. We had it for two nights with private onsen. We tried the traditional Japanese dinner and breakfast, which was a great experience for us. This hotel is a hidden gem. English is limited, but regardless everyone is very helpful.
We would love to come back !
