The rooms are spacious, clean and bright. Staff is beyond helpful and nice. The food is amazing. Although the diner was well suited for westerners’ traditional taste, (nabe), the breakfast is 100% salty. If it’s not your cup of tea, I would suggest mentioning it beforehand. Personally I loved the food. They even drove me back to the station. Otherwise you can walk, it’s only about 20 minutes walking to reach the hotel. It’s a lovely walk too as it is all around the lake.
