The property is beautifully kept. The hosts were very nice and greeted us and let us know they were here if we needed anything. The cottage was very clean! Everything was well stocked and they provided extra towels and supplies as needed. The hot tub is a great bonus and it was amazing to be in the hot tub overlooking their lush property. If you want a more relaxing experience this is the place to go! It’s a bit of a drive to other parts of the island but we didn’t mind at all especially since the property was so worth it. I posted pictures of it and so many friends and family wanted to know about it since it offers a more private and relaxing experience than staying at a resort or condo. Cooler temperatures by a few degrees than along the coastal areas, with nice breezes. We are pretty hot by nature, and we were okay without A/C. Lots of books and some board games were provided. Very scenic views. Close proximity to JAWS Country Store. NOT SO GOOD: With all of the surrounding vegetation, numerous small bugs (plus a couple of really tiny lizards) were our shared houseguests. The bathroom fan didn't seem to work, so it got really steamy in there in no time. The mattress in one bedroom was pretty lumpy. ##### Kirk N. We used the well-equipped kitchen to cook dinners and make breakfasts (get your groceries at Mana Foods in Paia). The location was convenient for the road to Hana, Twin Falls, jungle zip-lining, as well as spending time in Paia. It was wonderful to use the hot tub in the evenings. It was private and quiet (except for a few noisy vehicles driving on the road next to the cottage). The hosts were responsive and hospitable. There is beach equipment to use. The chorus of roosters and birds to wake you up is the best. If you're looking for something off the beaten path (about an hour from Lahaina, right near the start of road to Hana), this is the place for you!
