Room service, when we finally managed to get some, was not what we ordered and was not very nice at all. BUT the breakfast buffet was vast and over the top. I was very unimpressed. The locality is rather quiet but just a minute away from the night market and about 10 minute taxi ride from the pier to take the Halong Bay cruise. The highlight was the fantastic Japanese restaurant which we ate at both nights that we stayed and the waitress was very friendly and professional.
