The hotel was clean and the staff were very attentive, always happy to help with a smile. We had some bed issues (soft mattress) but they did their best to help with that. I do highly recommend this hotel and if we go back to Malta, I will not hesitate to book again. Good job great staff and management.

My 13 year old daughter and I just returned from our holidays, we stayed 1 week and enjoyed every minute. The staff are friendly & helpful, esp thanks to Jordan who expertly advised what tours to take & suggested activities for my daughter and I. The combined jeep & sailing tour to neighbouring islands was amazing & horse riding in the nearby centre & jetski was so much fun. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

The view from the hotel is breathtaking. Specious rooms, perfect for families. Also liked the choice of restaurants and bars. Spa & wellness great. Breakfast tasty and good quality but would’ve preferred better variety. Very limited activities for the kids during evenings, but perhaps that’s due to seasonality.

Really enjoyed the beautiful beach - Golden Sands. Pool facilities were great but indoor pool could have been better, as it was extremely cold and the sauna didnt work either. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, helpful and helped us eith queries big and small, very efficiently.

This place was amazing! I don't often write positive reviews, but this hotel/location was absolutely incredible. I would definitely go back. The room was amazing, and the beach, pools, and service was top notch. I would do a commercial for this place! I hope to go back one day to do it all over again . . .

The staff is extremely attentive from the minute you walk in the door through getting you to an early trip to the airport. The rooms with a view are breathtaking. The breakfast is excellent. Essence of India had me wanting to come back for more. Property well maintained. But sad that guests cannot help but litter on the gorgeous beach.

Pluses: spacious room and bathroom, attentive staff, adjacent to beautiful beach, private beach, comfortable, clean, bus stop not too far away Negatives: If you want to visit sites in Malta, the hotel is very far away from some of the major cities and sites; not an issue if you have a car. Could take the bus, but it was inconvenient due to timing, road closures, location (this was in Nov.). Hotel is a little dated, not a lot of food options at hotel or nearby Hotel staff go out of their way to help. But we were disappointed in Concierge - they could not give us best options for getting to certain places and were not aware of certain tours we had found at other hotels and did not tell us about the shuttle from the hotel that goes to certain sites for a fee; we found out on our own. We picked a 5* hotel so that Concierge could help us get around. There are travel desks that offer different tours but they only know what their company offers; would be nice if Concierge could know what our transportation/travel needs are and guide us accordingly. Nota Bene: many options at breakfast/food was above average but not stellar likely because they were cooking for 100s of people. Also, a quiet breakfast inside dining area is challenging because at all times during breakfast there is a lot of noise due to small kids - not good or bad but an observation.

It's a great hotel to chill out and relax. We hired a car and did a bit of sightseeing in Mdina. We did see regular buses both local and tour buses so would be fairly easy to get around anyway. There's a couple of beach bars/restaurants but which seemed fairly popular. We went in November and they shut earlier in the winter. The hotel has a wide choice of restaurants to eat in or just get a snack. The weather was fabulous for mid November, with average temperatures of 25 degrees. The staff were great and facilities excellent, I would definitely go back.

No happy with one thing - the over fussy service. Somehow world standards don't fit in a chilled holiday resort. If a want a beer, I dont need to be shown to a seat by one person asked what I want by a 2nd and then wait to pay a 3rd. Spending 20 minutes having a 5 minute drink? No.

Lovely hotel, delicious food and very helpful staff. Great pools and beautiful beach. Our suite was fantastic. Only complaint is that nothing in walking distance of resort (which we knew, to be fair) and more sport activities in and around pool would be welcome.

generally well maintained property has everything for everyone including an on site spa, kids activities, large pool, gym indoor pool and sauna. Their private beach is just a few steps away and has easy access to the Aquamarine water sports activity center The Myoka spa is one of the best and so are their restaurants- diverse food options including ‘Essense of India’ Some aspects could improve - the sauna area changing rooms are not well maintained and the service staff at the hotel could do with more training

We loved our stay at this resort. The resort was very clean despite the amount of sand from the private beach that must be tracked into her hallways, and it was very quiet during peak season. Plenty of amenities such as a boutique, a convenience store (light food, wine, sweets, pool/ beach toys, etc), spa, adult swim area, kids club, private sunloungers (for a minimum amount spent on food service), and more. The food was really great especially at Agliolio. The private beach is marked by a rope that divides it from a public beach to the left and a sea adventures & sports company to the right. There is a lifeguard stand at the public beach and the tide here is gentle (on non-windy days). The convenience of having the sea adventures & sports company at your fingertips was very convenient. There are plenty of free beach sunloungers with large fixed parasols and tables. The room balcony was very generous with plenty of space for 4 people and the room was spotless with a comfortable bed. We were grateful for the ceiling fan which was a much better choice instead of the AC. By far the most impressive aspect of the resort is the staff. Aleks, Mamata, and Ellaine at Mokka; and Abril and Karen working beachside were remarkable. So friendly, caring, and wonderful at making you feel welcome. Will definitely return.
