The hotel was very nice, but unfortunately my room was on the main road so very noisy throughout the night as there was no double glazing. As with so many hotels, it could use socket to plug in electronic equipment. The free mini-bar was a nice plus.
You cannot beat the location: next to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. a short train ride from the airport.
The Hotel is currently renovating their rooms, and t is time to redo the bathrooms but I did not hear any construction noises. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. When I could not get a twin room, they upgraded me to a room with a larger bed and a couch.
I love the breakfast buffet.
The room comes with a ticket for free public transport.
I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times and was never disappointed.
This is a hotel I would revisit, and I don't usually like repeat.
It's contemporary and clean, but not sterile or cold. Comfortable bed and towels were of good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more exciting than your average hotel sliced ham/cheese/bread/cereal selections.
Bonus: gym & sauna were small, but a pleasant oasis if you have time to visit.
We chose this hotel because it was right next to station.
Very good staff and well equipped and modern room.
Fantastic breakfast and great advice from front desk.
Only downside is that there are some seedy areas near the station but the Hof was a fantastic hotel experience.
We missed the bus, so walked to the hotel from the train station: a solid 15min. The room we were in was well setup. There is a grocery store, and several little stores and restaurants within a couple blocks, but it is a little removed from things, in that you need to walk (or bus) back to the train station in order to connect to the rest of Frankfurt.
