Being alone I was a little concerned about the location but it turned out to be just fine. It is a quiet neighborhood and if you were there as a couple or family it would be an ‘at home’ experience. I got there around sunset so it wasn’t dark yet. You walk up to a wooden fence door and then inside you face the back of the place you’re staying so you walk around the building to the front door. My husband and I were in the process of traveling to Greece for our honeymoon when the airline cancelled all our flights. So after spending two day traveling from TN to Washington and then back to TN, we decided to look for somewhere we could drive to instead. Because we’d sunk all our money into the trip we were supposed to take, we were low on money but still wanted to do something nice for our honeymoon. That’s when I found the Bunkhouse! It was so affordable and such a cute little room. It was small don’t get me wrong, but it was perfect for us and provided us with a sweet little getaway after the stressful few days we’d had. The management company was very quick to respond to all our questions and messages and was very pleasant to work with.
