Seawind 505 | Alabama Getaway Vacation Rentals Important Seawind Elevator Construction Notice We are excited to announce that Seawind will undergo an elevator modernization project to enhance guest experience. The project will start October 20, 2025 and last through the end of April 2026\. During this time, one elevator will remain in service for guests to use while the other elevator is out of service for updates. This may cause longer wait times during busy times of the day (check in/check out, lunch/dinner time, or during a pop up rainstorm). PROPERTY AT A GLANCE Unit 505 at Seawind is a beautiful, clean, and comfortable direct beach front condo in Gulf Shores! The condo is gorgeous and incredibly comfortable!! The kitchen has beautiful solid wood cabinets, granite counters, and stainless steel is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. A very large laundry room is found off the kitchen with a full sized washer and dryer. The owner is so thoughtful! You will find extras throughout this condo including a beach cart stocked with a few sands toys, 4 beach chairs, and an umbrella to use during your stay! The living room has plenty of comfortable seating with a huge 50” SMART HDTV! Each bedroom has smart TV's as well! The living room overlooks the beach and has access to the gulf front deck. The dining room table sits 4 with more seating found at the kitchen bar. All bedrooms, living room and bunk room are equipped with Smart HDTV's with access to NetFlix. The master and guest baths are both large and very luxurious with granite counters. We started this in 2018 when we took our cleaning in house and created our housekeeping division. We have complete control over our property cleaning and maintenance. This location is perfect, the view is fantastic, the beach is among the best anywhere. This building is very typical. Parking spots are narrow, elevators are slow during peak hours. Property was pretty much as pictured and had just a beautiful view of the ocean! Great location, close to everything. I think the people in the condo above us were installing flooring or remodeling, it got a bit loud and annoying at times. Other than that, it was pretty quiet. The third guest bedroom was much smaller than expected, the bed and dresser pretty much took up the entire space and did not feel very welcoming or comfortable. The pool was closed for our entire stay, due to repairs, which I found out on our way to the condo. No fault of the owners of course! This was a pretty big disappointment, especially being that it was spring break time! The pool was small anyways, luckily the hot tub was still open! Wait times for the elevators were long at times so we used the stairs when we didn’t have luggage, groceries or a beach wagon along. Some things in the condo were a little worn looking but otherwise we had a comfortable stay. I would stay again just for that view! ##### Kimberly A. The property was clean and I can’t express how beautiful the view was! We watched dolphins from the balcony every morning. I would definitely stay here again! We had 4 adults and 3 teens, there was plenty of space for everyone. Would love an upgrade to the bedroom that seemed like an office. We were able to get in couple hours early. We received extra towels and bedding when we asked. View from balcony is beautiful! Great location to restaurants. This condo is close enough to restaurants and shops that you can keep your car parked in the garage. Also, if you park on the third floor of the garage, you can walk up to the unit. (Elevators in the building are rather slow and crowded) Management company - Alabama Getaway - deserves a special shoutout as most diligent company I have worked with. ##### Greg K. My family & I enjoyed our stay. The 5th floor was perfect for us because we are not fans of heights. Everything was within walking distance but we still ventured out to restaurants & Walmart to do shopping. Even with driving, everything we needed was close. The condo was clean & the beds were so comfortable! We cooked at the condo & went to the beach & pool daily. My only critique would be to update the beach chairs & umbrella because they were pretty much broken when we brought them down to use them. Overall it was a great stay.
