This was very enjoyable fall stay with beautiful weather and low crowds down on the west end away from the high rises with a great view just across the street from the beach. The property was VERY rundown! The ceiling fan in the second bedroom fell from the ceiling on our final morning at 5:00am! Missed our puppy by inches!!! We had to finish packing in the dark! The second bath had black tape holding the soap dish in the shower to the wall. The primary bath tub took forever to drain. Kitchen rug was extremely filthy and full of sand. Southern Vacation Rentals (the property manager) is a "Premier Host"????? I've trusted VRBO many times before, but will never rent from a "Premier Host" again. You can only trust real owners who rent their homes directly to you. I should have known better when there were no reviews of the property. Why don't "Premier Hosts" have rental reviews???
