They really liked the “little pool” as they called it because the gulf waters was the “big pool”. Spent more time in it than the beach. Plenty of places to eat nearby. We enjoy the Cactus Cantina every time we come to Gulf Shores. Went to Lamberts this time, it was a good experience but didn’t catch my first roll! Food was good. Rouse’s grocery is conveniently close by. We made a day trip to see the Blue Angels perform in Pensacola. Also made day trips to Ft Walton and Dauphin Island. Short ferry boat to the Island. Another trip to Elberta to see “Lady in the Bay”. There is a Tanger Mall we always check out in Foley area. We love this area, where the beach and lagoon are easily acceptable, plus away from the crowded tourist areas. My kids have always loved splitting time between the beach and pool. This unit was great because of being on the first floor, which helped with carrying stuff. ##### Vonda L.
