This was our 4th year staying at Heron Landing, but our first time in this unit. We love the quietness and location. The home decor and furniture was more dated than other units we have stayed in, the home felt cluttered. The dryer didn’t work correctly and the ac struggles to cool the house. This condo was wonderful! It’s down enough on the stretch away from the partying. We had a lot of snowbirds around us so it was quiet at night. The condo itself was very clean and beds were comfortable. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper and paper towel. There isn’t any extra amenities if that sort. We went to Rouses almost nightly and got stuff to cook dinner. We are at restaurants for lunch to avoid the crowds. The condo is well stocked to cook. The linens for the pull out bed was in a drawer, so it took awhile to find them. Also the manager was very helpful when I had questions. There were multiple trash items left beside/under the couche, chairs, table...etc. laziness on lack of cleaning. A few other small things as well but to top it off I was charged $195 cleaning fee and during my stay I seen the cleaning company multiple times clean a condo after departure of someone and they were there less that 25 minutes... aggravating to get charged that much and have a dirty condo and have someone halfass clean it in 20-25 minutes. We have been coming to this same condo for over 20 years. Absolutely love the location! Only a few steps to the beach and you have your own pier to fish off of. Very quaint and quiet. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with the whole experience. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The staff was very helpful and made us feel at home. It was close to the beach with its own access, had a private pier on the lagoon out back, and everything was well maintained and perfect. Parlor doughnuts was a favorite place for the kids to get their snack on. We also checked out bubbas seafood restaurant too and it was amazing.
