The kids loved the more private beach to roam around and play in the sand and water. My husband got stuck on the upper balcony in the heat and the lower deck light fixture had broken prior to our arrival at the house all in the same day. The upper deck door has a metal piece on the door frame that sticks out too far and the door handle fell off and we weren’t able to get our swimming trunks or water shoes off of the deck that day for a few hours. We would definitely recommend this rental property to anyone looking for a semi-private getaway. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and Reed management responded within minutes of us calling when needed. Thank you for having us as guests and we will be back. ##### Stacey V. There were 6 adults and we all slept comfortably. Proximity to the beach is perfect. Even being 8mo. pregnant I was able to go to the water and back as needed. There are a lot of stairs, so be aware if you are traveling with elderly members or small children that could be at risk of falling. 2nd time I’ve stayed at this house and wouldn’t be surprised if I stayed again! ##### Hunter B. The house was good and we really liked the location. Quite, away from the crowds at Gulf Shores. However the house does need some attention. There were nails coming up on the deck that you had tp watch out for if barefoot, the railings on the top deck are in need of replacing, and the lamp in the master bedroom had a bulb broken off in it.
