The kitchen has new appliances and granite countertops. The master bath is 'handicap friendly' and features a walk-in shower. The three bedrooms will sleep six persons (one queen bed and four twin beds). There is also a queen size sleeper sofa. Internet access (WiFi) and cable television are included. There is a handicap ramp from the attached carport to the kitchen area. There is a front screened porch from which you can see the beautiful Bon Secour River. Guests will have access to a private fishing pier and a nearby public boat launch. We do not have a boat ramp on our property. There is ample parking in the side yard for multiple cars, a boat and a trailer. This property is within 15 minutes of both Foley, Alabama, and Gulf Shores, Alabama. We had plenty of room to spread out, whether sitting in the nice sun room or the large living room or even out on the screen porch. The updated kitchen was clean and well stocked with lots of cookware, dishes and utensils. Our dog enjoyed the large yard, and we loved sitting out on the private river dock just a minute's walk down the road. Penny and Sonny were terrific hosts. I reached out to the owner and Vrbo neither one could get ahold of owner for a refund since we are going to have to replace pillows and bedding er had to leave behind. The house is spacious, clean and well stocked. The only thing you can hear at night are the frogs and crickets. The river is only a short walk away. The beach a short drive away. We had friends over and they were really impressed with the quietness and peacefullness and the neatness of the house.
